BAJA CHAIN MONICA

So obsessed with my new BAJA chain Monica Vinader Bracelet. This is my very first Monica Vinader. I love the art deco inspired grey agate gemstone, the sleek chain, and the smooth-adjustable fastening back with the monogrammed M. It's such a timeless piece that I could wear for a very long time.

This is the outfit I wore the other weekend, a pink lace pencil skirt which is an ultra-feminine look. Ever since Karl Lagerfeld mentioned how peals bring out a beautiful light on a girl's face and then Chanel came out with that pearl choker, I haven't been able to resist it. This summer the pearl choker necklace will be extremely popular. The most important thing is it is so beautiful. It lightened up the whole outfit, which is perfect for a date night:)

BTW, Nordstrom has a half-yearly sale going on right now and items are up to 40% off. Thank you so much for reading, my loves! Have a great long weekend and I will talk to you guys real soon:) XO

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

I love girls night out. You get to chit chat/catch up about life, grow older together and most importantly have a great night out. I'm so lucky and happy to have these girls in my life.

I'm madly in love with these pants, which are seriously perfect for this kind of occasion. The flowy material, the style and the chain detail are to die for - such a dope piece to rock during a GNO. Sometimes I don't like to bring too much stuff when I'm out. This GiGi mini phone case is functional like a mini wallet, where I can also put my credit card, ID and $$$. Often it’s all I need. As for this ring pack, they are my new favorite. I love love love them. What do you like to wear for a GNO? Thank you so much for reading! Have an amazing Monday:)

WORKDAY OUTFIT

Happy Monday, loves! The weather was nice here in New York City this past weekend. Hope all the New Yorkers got to enjoy it. I’m sure you guys saw the news about the missing aircraft from Malaysia to China. The news is just so heartbreaking and my condolences go out to the family members of the passengers on the airplane. Hopefully, we’ll get some more answers in the coming days, but tragic events unfortunately do happen in our lives when we least expect them to. Life is really too short to be wasted on things or people that are not worth it. No one can predict the unexpected, but I truly want to live my life and enjoy every minute of it.

This outfit is perfect for both the office and during the day on the weekend. I love the neutral color. No matter the current trends, a nude color coat will likely become a staple in your wardrobe just like a simple black coat. It's also great to have for spring. You can also always wear denim with this neutral color coat. It's definitely one of my new favorite workday outfits. Enjoy your Monday and thank you so much for reading :) XOXO

LIKE BOY LIKE GIRL

I've been digging the boyish look a lot lately. It feels as if it’s a look that has been borrowed from the boys, but yet still keeps a strong dose of femininity. I love this pinstripe wool coat especially because of the detail. You really can’t beat a coat with such detail. I decided to wear it with these neon Tibi pants to experiment with the color combination and I love how they look together. It’s such a boyish look that is only complete with this Sophie bag :) Yes, “Like boy Like girl”!
Thank you so much for reading:) Have a great weekend, my loves!

COBALT BLUE STEEL

Happy Thursday, my dears! I hope you stayed warm and survived the brutally cold weather that swept across the country. What made my week go by a little faster than usual is the fact that it’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m super excited and a wee bit giddy.

The unforgiving cold here in New York made me miss the sunny weather in San Francisco over the holidays. Today's outfit features a coat I wore in San Francisco right after Xmas. I’ve always loved cobalt blue and I have a number of cobalt blue items in my wardrobe from sweaters to dresses, but I’ve never owned a cobalt blue coat. I honestly felt as if a coat in this color was missing from my closet. When I first saw the coat the other day, I knew immediately that this was what I'd been looking for. It brightened up my entire outfit and matched perfectly with my cobalt blue boots :) Thank you so much for reading and have an amazing Thursday :) XOXO

ROMAN HOLIDAY

Happy Tuesday, loves! Hope you are having a great week. Have you finished purchasing all your Xmas gifts yet? I'm pretty much done with holiday gift shopping for family and friends and cannot wait for Xmas.

Today's outfit is the last outfit from my trip to Europe. Yes, my last stop was in Rome, Italy. When I was little, I watched the film starring Audrey Hepburn, Roman Holiday. Ever since then, Rome has always been on my list of places to visit. In Rome, I saw so many sites: the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the mouth of truth etc. I was so excited each time I visited a site from the movie and the scenes just replayed again in my mind. I’m a sap for the love story in Roman Holiday. And of course the cute little Vespa just added to my affection for the movie. Because of the film, I imagined Rome as an incredibly romantic city and it lived up to my expectations. I was able to go to some restaurants and meet a number of locals who were sweet and always helpful. The spaghetti alla carbonara, gelato and tiramisu were my favorites and I could eat them on repeat every day. The highlights of the trip for me, though, were seeing the San Gennaro collection of gems and jewelry from Naples and my visit to the Vatican where I finally saw the Creation of Adam inside the Sistine Chapel. Getting the chance to see all these sites meant so much to me. Rome is just an amazing city full of history, culture and legacy. Words cannot describe everything that I saw. Hopefully, you guys saw some pictures on my Instagram, but really the pictures cannot do it justice.

As for shopping, I really don’t think the prices are cheaper over there, but I was able to purchase some Italian brands at pretty reasonable prices. I can’t wait to show you guys these goodies over my next few blog posts :)

The cashmere sweater I wore is from QUINN NYC. I really love this sweater because it’s so soft, warm and comfy. The shape is also nice as well. It's a cute sweater with cable details. I love sweaters that are good quality and keep you warm the entire winter. I paired it with a 7 For All Mankind pair of skinny shimmer jeans. The boots are also chic and comfortable to walk around the city in especially when you’re traveling. Have a great Tuesday and enjoying the snow here in New York city:) XOXO
