Ta da, this was the red dress I wore to my birthday dinner with Mr. SF this past weekend. The embellishment details on the plunging neckline were what caught my eye, plus red is such a flattering color. I figured that with some friends’ weddings coming up and also with Valentine’s Day next month, I could possibly wear it for those occasions as well. BTW, girls, the red maxi is currently ON SALE. Happy Monday, loves! Did you guys all have a good Mother's Day Weekend? I did a lot of work and it was a very productive weekend. Besides celebrating Mother's day and work, I read a little bit of Girl Boss and watched the latest episode of Silicon Valley, which was hilarious. haha
The floral pink top I wore the other weekend was so pretty. I love the scalloped hem and cuff details. Of course you can pair it with shorts and boots to give it a cool look. Happy Monday, loves! The weather was nice here in New York City this past weekend. Hope all the New Yorkers got to enjoy it. I’m sure you guys saw the news about the missing aircraft from Malaysia to China. The news is just so heartbreaking and my condolences go out to the family members of the passengers on the airplane. Hopefully, we’ll get some more answers in the coming days, but tragic events unfortunately do happen in our lives when we least expect them to. Life is really too short to be wasted on things or people that are not worth it. No one can predict the unexpected, but I truly want to live my life and enjoy every minute of it.
This outfit is perfect for both the office and during the day on the weekend. I love the neutral color. No matter the current trends, a nude color coat will likely become a staple in your wardrobe just like a simple black coat. It's also great to have for spring. I bought this cardigan a while ago because the patch details really stood out to me. It's super comfy and more importantly really warm. Without this cardigan I wouldn’t have made it through the winter (not over just yet). I paired it with these black and white pumps. Nowadays, I'm really into pointy toe pumps, because they give off a feminine look which is definitely back in trend. If black and white isn’t for you, this pair is also available in a number of other colors. The title of this post is inspired my new wrap watch from Winky Design's Sweet Dreams collection. I've been looking for a wrap watch with an eye-catching design and a color that pops. The watch’s pink color definitely does the trick. It goes so well with my embellished clutch, which added even more flare to this casual weekend outfit. Generally speaking, a red dress with sequins is my favorite for New Year's Eve. Today's red lace dress is one that I wore to a holiday party earlier this month. It'd be great for New Year's Eve as well. It's extremely feminine and definitely gives off the holiday vibe. This pair of Valentino rockstud triple ankle strap pumps have been on my wish list forever and ever. When I stopped by the Valentino boutique in Rome during my trip to Italy, I decided to dive in and make the purchase. Each pair is handmade in Italy, so you can see and feel the quality. Purchasing a pair of Italiano shoes in Italy was so very special to me. When I wear these shoes, I’m always reminded of the good times I had in Italy. This pair has two styles, the double ankle strap design with a higher heel and the triple ankle strap with a lower heel, which is a tad bit prettier in my opinion. I prefer this one because of the frontal design of the shoe in addition to the low heel, which makes it super comfy and wearable all day and into the evening. Beautiful and comfortable – what’s not to like :)

Yes, you probably already figured out that I'm actually referring to Mr. Wang here. I’ve loved Alexander Wang for such a long long time and this is my first official Wang bag. So you can imagine how excited I am about getting this bag. I've been “monitoring” this bag for a few months now. I had to get it because I just love the structure, quality and size. Hopefully, you guys found something you love too while shopping for the holidays :) There’s really nothing better than finding something you love at an incredible price. It’s a great way to reward yourself after a whole year of hard work.
Alexander Wang is definitely one of my favorites because of his super simple and chic design. I remember he once said, “anyone can get dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing”. I can see how this quote connects with his style, which is fairly easy for me to spot since the Wang design is so distinctively Wang. His career also motivates me because he built his empire at such a young age.
I love long vests/sleeveless coats. It’s a key item in my wardrobe that is totally me. Do you remember that I wore something similar this past summer with a skirt like [here].
