The moment I put this fringe skirt on, I couldn't help getting my dancing moves going. When considering great style, material and color, the skirt is exactly what I've been looking for. Plus, it's only $46 and the camel color just makes it even more stylish.

A pair of Birkenstock really isn’t new and I've been asking myself the same question over and over if I should get a pair every year ever since they came back in trend. This year I finally put my hands on it. Why now?
-They are super comfy. It's really good for my feet to get some rest after walking in heels for long hours. I did some research and found out that the firm support from Birkenstock is good for our feet and really is the kind of support your feet need as opposed to shoes that provide you soft or cushiony support.
-They are casual and chic. They probably won’t win best looking shoe accolades, but they still make your outfit look chic instantly. If you are looking for something casual to wear while still looking great on the weekend or anytime off-duty, they are indeed one of the best choices.
-They are so versatile. I can think about wearing them with shorts, a mini-skirt, a flowy maxi, boyfriend jeans, wide-leg pants or cropped and ripped jeans like what I wore in today's outfit.
-They have one of the best price versus quality ratios. Last year Givenchy had this pair of floral slipper sandals and Rachel Zoe had this pair of metallic sandals. Berks retail price is way more affordable and before I made this purchase, I read lots of online reviews and it seems as if a lot of people are happy with them.
-They are not going away anytime soon. I saw quite a few pairs of new arrival sandals this season. None of them look exactly like the Berks since they are all slipper sandals in similar styles. I don't think Berks are going away anytime soon. Ok, by the time they go out of trend, you can save them to pass them on to your future generations like how they came back in trend this time, hahahaha.
-They can be worn almost all year long. Except on those really cold winter days, you can wear a pair of grey socks with Birkenstock even in the winter. That's why they are worth every penny you spend.

What's cozier than a fuzzy sweater for this season’s weather? It's so soft and I love the feel of it. You girls know how much I adore oversized turtleneck sweaters. A skirt or pants are both great items to pair with this sweater. I've been wearing a lot of different accessories lately. They are a big part of my wardrobe, especially these pretty little rings. These big pearl rings are one set of 5 pearl rings selling for $20. I normally don't wear them together, I just wear some of them with other rings to create different combinations. This past NYFW I saw a few designers like Celine, Thakoon and MSGM etc. all with floral designs on their runway. Floral is one of the biggest trends for Spring 2015. The prints are bigger and bolder than ever. Of course you can wear a skirt to make the look romantic and feminine. However, I chose to wear ripped jeans with the floral top to create a cool look. I love a bright and contrasting color floral print. It feels so spring and beautiful like this floral shirt from Doll Memories. These photos were taken last weekend in San Francisco. It was raining that day, but in San Francisco I already started to smell spring right around the corner :)

The days I can’t figure out what to wear, I just throw on a cape. It’s a no brainer. I don’t have to think about what I wear underneath and yet it still looks darn chic. It’s indeed a chic piece every wardrobe needs. Paring it with over the knee boots is one of my favorite ways to wear it. Another great way to wear it is with skinny jeans and Chelsea boots. Winter days couldn't get anymore comfier and stylish without a pair of sweatpants, slip-ons and a turtleneck sweater. I love sporty looks with sweatpants and slip-ons and I love this side pocket on the sweatpants. As the line gets blurrier between RTW and sports wear, I actually wear the pants to the gym sometimes:P Need to get more toned now in the New Year. BTW, both the turtleneck sweater and the coat are 40% off. The sweater is $52 and the coat is down to $73.

Jan is really going to be a busy travel month for me. I just booked my ticket to North Carolina for a business trip next week and will then fly back to San Francisco for a friend's wedding. After SF, I’m back again to North Carolina before finally coming home to NYC. It’ll be exhausting, but will undoubtedly lead to more opportunities in the future, so exciting. Happy Wednesday, loves! I wore this outfit to a holiday party last week. This velvet pencil skirt with the floral print and lace hem is just so feminine and pretty. I wanted to wear it with a crop top to make the look more fun for the holidays. It'll work too if you want to wear it with a sweater. The skirt is stylish yet very affordable (it's only $56). I was so glad that I was able to catch up with some good friends that I haven't seen for a while at the holiday party. We started reminiscing about our old silly days and the fun times we’ve had together. Even, though, we haven't seen each other for such a long time and our lives have changed a lot, it still feels as if we are still the same toward each other. You girls know that I have two jobs that keep me super busy. There’s only 24 hours in each day and there’s only one me. The holiday party made me realize that I need to squeeze out more time to spend with friends and family no matter how busy I am. Happy holidays to my loves!
