Spring is finally here, my loves! A military jacket is always a spring must-have. It’s casual, perfect for the weather and tres chic. After some research and going through a number of military jackets on the market, I picked up this one before my Shanghai trip. I highly recommend this one to you girls. If you like having a more flattering waist, there is an internal drawcord that can be cinched to give it a better shape. Another reason to get it is because it’s only $68! If you like a military jacket that stands out more, then this one is totally for you. I’m obsessed with it too:P

Happy Monday, loves! Did you guys all have a good Mother's Day Weekend? I did a lot of work and it was a very productive weekend. Besides celebrating Mother's day and work, I read a little bit of Girl Boss and watched the latest episode of Silicon Valley, which was hilarious. haha
The floral pink top I wore the other weekend was so pretty. I love the scalloped hem and cuff details. Of course you can pair it with shorts and boots to give it a cool look. Yes, this is from my favorite book GirlBoss. I'm still reading it, but am madly in love with it already. I feel that I HAVE to share this with you guys because it's such a cool book. You guys all know how much I love NastyGal (like here, here and here etc). This book is from Sophia Amoruso, CEO of NastyGal. She started selling Vintage clothes on eBay and in 8 years she turned NastyGal into a $100 Million plus business. How did she do that? I'm just like all of you, the story totally triggered something in me. It's such a fun and inspiring read:)
Back to the outfit for today, neon lace and yellow roses are for gorgeous days in New York City. This is one of my favorite silhouettes and the skater dress always gives you a slender waist. Hey guys, it's posting day again. Yay! The work week is half way done. I've been really obsessed with denim this spring. You won't believe that this is the first denim shirt I've ever bought, haha. You saw my denim dress posting right? So this is another denim look that I'm very much in love with. Denim on denim. I love wearing the shirt with a white blazer because it just makes the whole look tres chic. The statement crystal necklace has so many beautiful details and every girl needs a statement piece like it.
In the title, "casual" refers to denim and "dressy" is my new statement necklace. I love it when casual meets dressy. The outfit can totally transition from a day look to a night look so easily.
