The bomber jacket is such a great piece to transition from winter to spring. Besides wearing it with a skirt and OTK boots, it's also so easy to pair it with jeans and moto pants. My cropped zipper sweater is also great for this weather. It comes in two different colors. They don't have all sizes available right now, but this one is great if you are looking for something similar. 

I'm still so obsessed with these marble mirrored sunnies and I'm bringing them with me to Asia today. Mr. SF and I are traveling to Shanghai for Vacay. I totally need this time off to rest and recharge. It'll be a long flight, so I bought this book. I'm really excited to read it:P

After so many fringe items this summer, my love toward fringe hasn’t changed at all. Totally obsessed with the fringe sweater, especially these sleeves. The sweater is so warm and comfy, plus it’s $60 bucks. 

My Coach messenger bag with pop-up pouch in caviar calf leather is convertible from wallet to clutch to crossbody. Small bags are the best when you don't feel like carrying anything :P

This past NYFW I saw a few designers like Celine, Thakoon and MSGM etc. all with floral designs on their runway. Floral is one of the biggest trends for Spring 2015. The prints are bigger and bolder than ever. Of course you can wear a skirt to make the look romantic and feminine. However, I chose to wear ripped jeans with the floral top to create a cool look. I love a bright and contrasting color floral print. It feels so spring and beautiful like this floral shirt from Doll Memories. These photos were taken last weekend in San Francisco. It was raining that day, but in San Francisco I already started to smell spring right around the corner :)

How time flies! My vacation to Asia, which we planned a few months ago, is coming up in a few days. Mr. SF and I are going to Asia for the Thanksgiving holidays and our first stop will be Shanghai! With the trip back to Shanghai right around the corner, I realized how much I miss the city since it’s where I was born and grew up. My fondest memory about the holidays in Shanghai was that during the spring festival my mom would dress me up in red with a red coat, red sweater and red gloves. I was always wearing a few items with red accents. We would visit my grandparents, my uncles and aunties and I would get so many red envelopes. Red in my mind has always been associated with the holidays and other great emotions like love. In addition to all of that, red is such a beautiful color and I’m even more obsessed with it come the holidays. It cheers everyone up and in color theory red makes you look healthy and energetic even when you are sick. I strongly recommend that you girls add a nice red sweater to your holiday outfits. The blanket scarf is one of the most popular items for the fall because it's so stylish and warm. It has totally inspired me to write this three-in-one post for you girls :)

Wrap It

Wrapping it around your neck is the most common way to wear it. It covers your entire neck and keeps you super warm.

Poncho It

Just use a few safety pins and the poncho can be easily created.

Belt It

Actually this is my favorite and in my opinion the most stylish way to wear the blanket scarf. I folded the scarf over twice, put it around my neck and put a belt on my waist to secure it. It was inspired by a few street style pics I saw from Paris Fashion Week this year. I love love love it. I wore this outfit during my visit to SF last week. Besides wearing the blanket scarf over the blazer, you girls can wear all three different styles over jackets and coats. I've definitely been living in my blanket scarf these days :)

POP OF PINK: BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Some of you may have noticed on my Instagram that a few pink items have been added to my wardrobe. Yes, it’s because Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time. Most people are aware of breast cancer, but many forget to take action to detect the disease in its early stages. The best way to fight breast cancer is to perform breast self-exams and schedule annual clinical breast exams. We all need to do our part to help raise awareness. I wore my new pretty pink mini bag and pink bracelet to help raise awareness via today’s post.
