NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW

TGIF, loves! My Favorite day of the week is finally here. Today is also the first day that the New York International Auto Show opens to the public. I promised earlier that I would share some pictures with you guys. Why not check out the show if you happen to be in the city?

Talking about cars, I used to be a Scion owner many years ago when I first moved to New York. It was my first car ever, a super white two door tC. I was madly in love with it and really took care of it. One of the pictures is the new model from Scion. What kind of car do you like?

I wore a Moto Jacket and a plaid shirt to the Auto Show. The Moto jacket is so awesome that the sleeves can be taken off, so you can wear it as a vest when it gets warmer. Blue is also a great color. The plaid shirt I wore in one of my earlier outfits and I actually wear it quite often. You can dress it up with maxi and dress casually with jeans and leggings. Thank you so much for reading and have an amazing weekend!

BLACK AND WHITE AT ARCHITECTURE DIGEST

Yesterday I went to the Architectural Digest Home Design show at Pier 94. Thousands of furniture, accessories, lighting, art, kitchen, bath and building products were on display. I've always been into things that are inspirational and pretty at the same time and thus home design has been an interest of mine for some time. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite designs, especially these dining room sets. The color and design of these rooms were truly amazing.

I wore my new slip-on to the show. These black and white checker Vans go with any color and are super comfy. I had my Zoe Karssen's "I love boy scouts" t-shirt on yesterday. Zoe Karssen always has cute and fun t-shirts, sweatshirts, and must have off-duty shirts. It was a great show and weekend. Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend as well. Enjoy your Monday and thank you so much for reading :)

GEORGETOWN

Cobblestone streets, cute historic townhouses and Georgetown Cupcake remind me of Georgetown in Washington D.C. I’ve spent a few afternoons admiring the area, hanging out at a cafe, popping into a home decor store to day dream about my future house, and of course shopping at the local boutiques.

Here is the outfit I wore on my last visit to our nation’s capital. I just can’t get enough of the sweatshirt craze. This Clover Canyon sweatshirt is one of my favorites in my closet. I often wear it underneath a coat, blazer or jacket. Their spring collection's prints are even more vibrant and stunning. Happy President’s Day, my loves! XOXO

FW2014 NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Loves, this is the outfit I wore last Saturday to a few NYFW events. It's another example of how a red coat really is a winter essential for your wardrobe. Red isn’t the only color that works for a winter coat because I’ve seen some amazing pastel, pink and light blue coats that are super cute and are totally in trend right now. But I just love red so much and another important consideration is that you’re unique when you wear it during the winter months as opposed to dark colors such as black and navy blue. My red coat really brightens up a gloomy day for me here in New York City.

Today I want to say Happy Valentine's to my amazing boyfriend, Mr. SF, I'm so happy to have him in my life :) Last but not least, I’m wishing all of you a Happy Valentine's Day with your significant other :) Thank you for your support as always. XOXO

LUNAR NEW YEAR

How could I not wear red for Lunar New Year? Red has always been the color I’ve identified with this holiday. The holiday is a great time to celebrate with family. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to go back to Shanghai to spend Lunar New Year with my family for so many years. I truly miss the festivities, quality time with family and friends, and of course the food. This past weekend, I celebrated in Washington D.C. wearing my red coat around and eating some delicious Chinese food, which always puts a smile on my face. A red coat is a must-have for the winter if it’s for the holidays or the Lunar New Year. As for the neon pumps, it can always add some color and pop to your outfit :)

As it continues to snow here in the city, New York Fashion Week quickly approaches. Time flies since it feels as if I just went to NYFW just a little bit ago. I’m arranging my schedule right now and am trying to figure out my outfits for NYFW. Similar to what I did last year, I’ll definitely try my best to update you guys on NYFW trends and looks. Are you guys ready to follow it with me?

LIKE BOY LIKE GIRL

I've been digging the boyish look a lot lately. It feels as if it’s a look that has been borrowed from the boys, but yet still keeps a strong dose of femininity. I love this pinstripe wool coat especially because of the detail. You really can’t beat a coat with such detail. I decided to wear it with these neon Tibi pants to experiment with the color combination and I love how they look together. It’s such a boyish look that is only complete with this Sophie bag :) Yes, “Like boy Like girl”!
Thank you so much for reading:) Have a great weekend, my loves!

BLACK AND WHITE: WINTER EDITION

Happy Tuesday, loves! How was your weekend? Hopefully, you didn’t get caught in the snow this past weekend in New York. I ended up doing a photo shoot while it was snowing, which I’ll share with you guys real soon. Did you guys all finish your Xmas gift shopping? It’s only one week away and I can’t wait to spend Xmas with family and friends.

Today's dress is from Lola Minx. Their dresses are designed and made in Chicago and are extremely aesthetic and Bohemian chic. I'm obsessed with winter whites these days, so I picked this white dress. It's a great look for the holidays since it’s comfy and flowy at the same time. I matched it with my new favorite boots from Casadei. I bought this pair in Rome on my recent trip to Europe. I had just visited the Spanish Steps and was strolling along window shopping and I literally jumped and shrieked at the same time when I saw the Casadei boutique. I couldn’t control my reaction because I’ve been in love with the brand for so long. It meant so much to me to be able to see the boutique in Italy let alone buy a pair of boots in Italy, where the shoes are designed and manufactured. Compared to my other pair of Casadeis, this pair is undoubtedly more classic. My favorite feature is the ultra thin heel. The thinner the heel the more feminine it is to me. I love feeling ultra-feminine. Casadei has a winter sale going on right now and this pair is 50% off. It's honestly one of the best sales I’ve come across for Casadei. Hopefully, you can find an amazing pair for yourself and thank you so much for reading :) XOXO
