SPRING ESSENTIAL

Happy Thursday, my dears! Were you guys able to pick up anything from the Big Event sale? I bought something I’ve been in love with for a while and I can’t wait to get it in the mail any day now :) I don’t know about you, but I also can’t wait for spring to come and for the weather to warm up. The weather was beautiful this past weekend, which really makes me wish it was here to stay. I was able to wear my full pleated skirt out strolling around the city and was able to enjoy the sights and scenery around town. I love the texture and the pleated details, which make it a beautiful skirt. It’s quite versatile, so you can wear it for occasions during the day or at night. Thank you so much for reading. XOXO

LET IT RAIN

If you’ve had the opportunity to scroll through my January wishlist, you probably already discovered this pair of navy colored Hunter Boots. In all honesty, there has never been a time in my life when I wanted a pair of rain boots. I truly never felt they were pretty or stylish. Until this year of course, the brutal winter here in New York got me to start searching for the perfect pair of rain boots. I've been wearing regular boots on rainy days and the elements have ruined a few pairs of boots so far this season. After a good amount of research, I finally bought my first pair of Hunter Boots. I know that many of you probably already own a pair or two but the more I look at mine, the cuter they look to me. The boots are well known for their style and quality, which I totally need for the rain, sleet and snow during the winter months. I can finally happily enjoy the rain here in the city.

Happy Tuesday, my loves! Thank you so much for reading and have an amazing day :) XOXO

GOODBYE LUCKY 2013

Hi, loves! Can you believe that today is the last day of 2013? I truly cannot. So many things that happened this year feel as if they just occurred yesterday. I honestly have to admit that this past year has been the best year of my life. And much of it is due to the fact that I started Shall We Sasa this past April.

I’ve been so fortunate to travel around the globe this year from Shanghai and Seoul in Asia to Cancun in Central America to London and Rome in Europe. Within the United States I’ve made a number of trips to some major cities such as Miami and Washington DC on the East coast, Chicago in the Midwest and of course just recently over the holidays to San Francisco on the West coast. Life never ceases to amaze me and definitely exceeded my expectations this year. My two top 2013 New Year resolutions were to visit London and to pass my CCIE written lab exam (one of the top achievements/certifications for a network engineer). I crossed off London from my list, but I never got around to finishing my CCIE exam. My passion led my life down another path. No matter how good I could be in the networking engineering world, it could never compete with where my heart is here at Shall We Sasa. I sincerely hope you’ve enjoyed the beginning of this journey with me as much as I have.

Someone asked me what my fondest memory of 2013 was. I can’t pick just one since I’ve had so many of them from the day Shall We Sasa officially launched to the first time I collaborated with a brand to the first time I attended NYFW with my name on an official press pass. Throughout the year I’ve met so many inspiring designers, editors, bloggers, models and photographers. I am truly grateful for having had this opportunity. And of course more important than anyone without you guys, none of this would have happened. With the year coming to an end I scrolled through all my looks and picked some of my favorites from my Lucky 2013. Are you ready to start a sure to be amazing 2014 with me? Thank you so so much for all the support and love. Cannot wait for another year with all of you!

From Sasa with Love

THE TRIPLE ROCKSTUDS

Hi loves, TGIF - my favorite day of the week! Did you guys enjoy my previous post about New Year's Eve dress ideas? The Nicole Miller dress from Rent the Runway is an incredible deal. They also have a number of other choices at similar prices only during the holiday season. Besides the dresses I picked from Rent the Runway ,ASOS and Nastygal, there are many other great choices for NYE dresses at Topshop, Bebe, River Island, BCBG, Juicy Couture, Alice and Olivia and BB Dakota etc.

Generally speaking, a red dress with sequins is my favorite for New Year's Eve. Today's red lace dress is one that I wore to a holiday party earlier this month. It'd be great for New Year's Eve as well. It's extremely feminine and definitely gives off the holiday vibe. This pair of Valentino rockstud triple ankle strap pumps have been on my wish list forever and ever. When I stopped by the Valentino boutique in Rome during my trip to Italy, I decided to dive in and make the purchase. Each pair is handmade in Italy, so you can see and feel the quality. Purchasing a pair of Italiano shoes in Italy was so very special to me. When I wear these shoes, I’m always reminded of the good times I had in Italy. This pair has two styles, the double ankle strap design with a higher heel and the triple ankle strap with a lower heel, which is a tad bit prettier in my opinion. I prefer this one because of the frontal design of the shoe in addition to the low heel, which makes it super comfy and wearable all day and into the evening. Beautiful and comfortable – what’s not to like :)

I'm heading out of town tonight to spend Xmas with family and friends. I hope you all have a great and amazing holiday. I know you’ll look amazing at your holiday parties this weekend :P Thank you so much for reading! Happy Holidays! :)
