This past NYFW I saw a few designers like Celine, Thakoon and MSGM etc. all with floral designs on their runway. Floral is one of the biggest trends for Spring 2015. The prints are bigger and bolder than ever. Of course you can wear a skirt to make the look romantic and feminine. However, I chose to wear ripped jeans with the floral top to create a cool look. I love a bright and contrasting color floral print. It feels so spring and beautiful like this floral shirt from Doll Memories. These photos were taken last weekend in San Francisco. It was raining that day, but in San Francisco I already started to smell spring right around the corner :)

The days I can’t figure out what to wear, I just throw on a cape. It’s a no brainer. I don’t have to think about what I wear underneath and yet it still looks darn chic. It’s indeed a chic piece every wardrobe needs. Paring it with over the knee boots is one of my favorite ways to wear it. Another great way to wear it is with skinny jeans and Chelsea boots. Great personal style never needs to break the bank. I would wear anything that I think is pretty like this camel off the shoulder sweater, which is ON SALE for $21. I wore it with my favorite moto pants for a night out in San Francisco with friends. A skirt or boyfriend jeans would also be great options to pair with this sweater. Nothing can beat great style at an unbelievable price :)

Do you girls remember the belt it way I wore my blanket scarf in this prior post I did a while ago? Today I'm belting a regular size plaid scarf. It's still one of my favorite ways to wear a scarf. This is an outfit I wore while it was snowing in New York City last week. Hunter boots, jeans and sweater dresses are my best friends for snowdays in the city. This new sweater dress from Tobi is super cute and cozy.

Work has been extremely busy here in Research Triangle Park, NC. It's completely different from NYC, lots of nature and trees and less commercial shops. However, there is a lot of outdoorsy stuff to do and I’ve really gotten to experience the southern warmth and hospitality from the people here. I'm flying to San Francisco today and will be back here again next week for more work. I can't wait to have a blast at the wedding already. Let's stay in touch via Instagram this weekend! Ta da, this was the red dress I wore to my birthday dinner with Mr. SF this past weekend. The embellishment details on the plunging neckline were what caught my eye, plus red is such a flattering color. I figured that with some friends’ weddings coming up and also with Valentine’s Day next month, I could possibly wear it for those occasions as well. BTW, girls, the red maxi is currently ON SALE. Grab it now before Valentine’s Day and before it sells out :P

It was freezing when these photos were taken. 17 degrees in New York City. I felt as if every single part of my body was frozen, haha. But it was indeed a great and special birthday! Thank you all for the birthday wishes on my Instagram and thank you for stopping by. XO

Winter days couldn't get anymore comfier and stylish without a pair of sweatpants, slip-ons and a turtleneck sweater. I love sporty looks with sweatpants and slip-ons and I love this side pocket on the sweatpants. As the line gets blurrier between RTW and sports wear, I actually wear the pants to the gym sometimes:P Need to get more toned now in the New Year. BTW, both the turtleneck sweater and the coat are 40% off. The sweater is $52 and the coat is down to $73.

One of the things I can't live without this season is the knit cardigan. It’s cozy, stylish and practically effortless to create a cool look by adding a fedora, black jeans and booties. I can live in this outfit everyday.

Secondly, a little bitter sweet news about C. Wonder, I’m not sure if you guys saw the news that C. Wonder is closing all its stores. I always loved their home furnishings and found in general they had lots of cute stuff. I own some candles and dinnerware from them. Right now they have everything 50% off to clear their final stock. I'm a bit sad but the good news is it's the best time for you girls to shop there at amazingly discounted prices. Grab a few things before they clear everything out.

Jan is really going to be a busy travel month for me. I just booked my ticket to North Carolina for a business trip next week and will then fly back to San Francisco for a friend's wedding. A couple Thanksgivings ago, Mr. SF and I traveled to Rome for vacation. After taking in the romantic Spanish Steps, I walked into the Casadei store and I purchased a pair of iconic blade boots. I adore the thin blade so much. It's ultra-feminine, which epitomizes Casadei. This pair to me is also associated with delicious food, fantastic wine, great company and unforgettable times in Rome. Memories of Rome will always feel so special to me. When I saw this pink "Casadei Love" sweatshirt from Doll Memories that said "All I need is new shoes", it instantly put a smile on my face. Oh my, I can never say no to new shoes, especially a pair of Casadeis. As for this look, I paired it with red with pink. Red and pink are such a great color combination and it's so Parisian (according to the book "How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are" :P).

I'm back to the office today and it feels like it’s been a while since I saw my coworkers here, haha. This stripped and cropped hooded pullover is just too cute. It totally caught my eye when I first spotted it.You can wear it with harem pants like how it’s styled on Urban’s website, but I actually really loved wearing it with my tight fitted moto pants and stiletto heels to dress up the outfit a little bit. This pair of pointy toe heels is still one of my favorites (currently 50% off) . BTW, the pullover is currently 30% off :P
