VALENTINE'S DAY: QI XI

Every year the 7th day of the 7th month in the Chinese lunar calendar is Chinese Valentine's day aka Qi Xi. It was August 2nd this year and this was the outfit I wore for Qi Xi. Mr. SF and I don't really celebrate Qi Xi as much as February 14th, but we still spend time together and grab some yummy food that we both enjoy. We treat that day a little more casually than Feb14th. To find something to wear for Qi Xi, I was thinking I wanted to look for something lacey but not so formal. It should be romantic but fun. When I saw this romper from Windsor, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I really adore the back, the crochet strap and the lace overlay of the romper. I wore it during the day and at night. I'm thinking about wearing it out to a rooftop happy hour with friends this week. I can't wait:)

GREY AREA

The morning and the night time here in New York City has actually gotten a little chilly recently and I'm definitely getting the feeling that fall is just around the corner. I wanted some layers and something chic that I could wear during this type of weather. Ta da then I found this blazer, haha. Everything I threw on here is old, only the grey blazer is new. I wanted to be able to mix and match it with whatever I already have in my closet. It'll look good if you try layering it with a shirt as well. A grey blazer is definitely a wardrobe essential that can help transition your outfits into the Fall:)
