TGIF, loves! Here’s my third outfit from Hong Kong. The cutout detail of the hoodie totally caught my eye when I first spotted it. It was love at first sight. If you are looking for something casual and cool that stands out and isn’t just an ordinary hoodie, this is definitely the design for you. I love mixing a sporty looking top with dressy heels, but it totally works if you wear sneakers too.

I have a faux fur coat, but this striped faux fur one is the first in my wardrobe. I knew I wanted a coat in this style when I saw DKNY's NYFW fall/winter runway show. I was totally in love with it. I loved the look, but I knew that I could always find great alternatives like this striped faux fur coat from ASOS. It feels so soft and warm. Wear it with black or white since monochromatic looks are never a bad idea. Whites, a floppy hat and a white slip on are my favorite pieces to wear it with. I also saw a few other brands with a similar mono striped faux fur coat, so definitely take a look at those as well. Do you think you gals will be rocking this trench this winter?

New Jeans Just In: The Stilt – 17 Years Riot from AG. You girls probably already saw this pair on my Instagram. I'm madly in love with cropped skinny jeans and the blue is the perfect blue color that I was looking for. The heavily distressed knees are just so cool. Because of my love for the jeans, I want them to always look so blue and fit me perfectly. They are an essential to create an effortless casual weekend look.
When I was growing up, my mom always told me that new clothes needed to be washed before you could wear them. I still remember my jeans changing after washes, where they became loose, the fit wasn't as good anymore and the blue denim lost its vivid pigment of indigo blue. I never really cared that much because jeans would come and go plus the jeans I wore when I was growing up were not expensive. Until I moved to New York many years ago, I had never owned a pair of premium denim. My first pair was a pair of J Brand jeans. I remember how expensive they were for me back then, but they made me look into how to protect my jeans after I washed them. Today let's talk about how to wash your jeans to ensure they last longer, loves!
-Wash them less frequently
It's totally fine to wash your jeans less frequently and wear them at least a few times before you wash them for the first time. I read somewhere earlier this year that Levi's CEO revealed that he hasn't washed his jeans in more than a year, haha. I'm not too sure about going down this extreme of waiting more than a year, though. You can rotate between a few different pairs of jeans to avoid not wearing the same pair too often. It's really important to not wash them so often so that they'll maintain that perfect color. If they’re really dirty, you can just wash that dirty spot. I normally wash my jeans after wearing them about 5 times.
-Wash them inside out
-Try not to machine wash them
Instead hand wash them with cold water. Also air drying is always best. You should definitely read the tag before your first wash. Every pair of jeans has different requirements. Even if machine washing them might be ok for certain jeans, the general rule is to not put them into the washing machine. When I'm really busy, I’ll actually throw them into the washer, but I select delicates and I separate the jeans from my other clothes. Then I normally just lay them down flat to air dry them.
-Freeze your jeans overnight
Some people have said that if you keep your jeans in the freezer overnight it'll kill all the bacteria. They also say that it makes your pair of jeans feel real clean, so that you can wear comfortably after freezing them. Their recommendation is to freeze your jeans about once a month. However, I have to admit that I’ve never tried this before. Have you girls ever done this?

Some of you may have noticed on my Instagram that a few pink items have been added to my wardrobe. Yes, it’s because Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time. Most people are aware of breast cancer, but many forget to take action to detect the disease in its early stages. The best way to fight breast cancer is to perform breast self-exams and schedule annual clinical breast exams. We all need to do our part to help raise awareness. I wore my new pretty pink mini bag and pink bracelet to help raise awareness via today’s post.

I've been living in my floppy hat and pearl accessories ever since I recently bought them. (if you guys remember the post here). Today I want to show you girls a classic and versatile item that will help you transition from summer to fall, the denim jacket.
Every girl should have a denim jacket in their closet because it goes well with so many different items like dresses, skirts, jeans and pants etc. There are also so many ways to wear it such as wrapping it around your waist or layering it with another jacket or coat when the weather gets colder. There are different types of denim jackets: cropped, fitted or oversized. I personally prefer the oversized denim jacket. You can actually wear it well into the fall season and even during the winter if you layer with it. My preference is for this light washed denim color and I wore it with a shirt dress. Do you girls have a denim jacket and if so, what kind and how do you like to wear it?
The beautiful autumn foliage colors inspired me to create a colorful look for the season. I wanted to explore more color options and also to challenge myself. I'm wearing these suede pumps that I'm madly in love with right now. After all these years, I still have a soft spot for pointy toe stilettos. They are the symbol of ultimate class and femininity. The camel blazer gives a luxe feel to the whole outfit and it always reminds me so much of autumn. Camel, this classic color, just blends well with so many other colors. The neon pink is like the pop of orange and red that brings out the autumn foliage that just makes the scene even more beautiful. I'm really happy with this camel and neon pink look and the fun colors always are a mood booster for me. What color combination have you girls tried to make your outfit more fun for fall?
