 One of the most memorable things I saw during this past Spring Summer 2015 NYFW was the slit. If you girls still remember the runway photos I posted on my Facebook page and Instagram, designers came up with different maxi and dresses with the slit that were super sleek and sexy. I'm so in love with this long sweater with the side slit. It was love at first sight indeed. How do you make a long sweater with a side slit look more stylish? Two key points: (1) wear the sweater with a shirt underneath to make the whole look more sophisticated (small style detail: try taking the sleeve of your shirt and make a cuff over the sleeve of the sweater), (2) wear it with flare jeans or pants. This is also one of my favorite silhouettes. It creates a smaller waist and elongates your legs. Couldn't be happier with this outfit. You girls should give it a try to see if you like it while looking taller at the same time, haha! Happy Wednesday, my loves! XO

今年早些时候纽约时装周让我最印象深刻的就是开叉。如果你们还记得我在Facebook和Instagram上分享的照片，很多设计师都展示了明年春夏的开叉设计。所以我看到这件开叉毛衣就爱到不行，绝对是一见钟情。旁边开叉的长毛衣要怎么穿才有型呢？最关键的两点：1）毛衣里面搭配衬衫让整体更成熟和时尚，记得要把袖口翻过来。2）和喇叭裤搭配。我很爱这种形。让你的腰看上去很小，腿很长。没法比这种搭配更让我高兴的了。你们也试试看会不会腿长些，哈哈！好拉，祝你们星期三快乐！爱你们!

Besides the sequin skirt post on Friday, the skater mini is another great piece to have for the upcoming holidays. It creates the most flattering silhouette for your body and elongates your legs. Besides wearing it with heels, over the knee boots are also a great option. Now post-day light savings and with the weather getting chillier in New York City, I’m really getting the itch that the holiday season is right around the corner. Saturday night was Mr. SF's birthday and we celebrated at one of his favorite restaurants in the city. It was a special day for him and also for me. I was super excited and I wanted to pick out something special, elegant and pretty for that night. Do you guys remember my Jay Godfrey dress I wore in SF? Both that dress and this one have luxurious fabrics and flattering silhouettes. Compared to that LBD, this dress is more sophisticated because of the details like the faux leather front, the pleated side, and the wrap skirt with a cutout hem. We had a fantastic time that night and I’ll always remember this birthday when I wear this beautiful dress out in the future. Happy birthday to my love and I’m looking forward to another wonderful year together. What would you wear to celebrate your significant other's birthday? :)XO

The blanket scarf is one of the most popular items for the fall because it's so stylish and warm. It has totally inspired me to write this three-in-one post for you girls :)

Wrap It

Wrapping it around your neck is the most common way to wear it. It covers your entire neck and keeps you super warm.

Poncho It

Just use a few safety pins and the poncho can be easily created.

Belt It

Actually this is my favorite and in my opinion the most stylish way to wear the blanket scarf. I folded the scarf over twice, put it around my neck and put a belt on my waist to secure it. It was inspired by a few street style pics I saw from Paris Fashion Week this year. I love love love it. I wore this outfit during my visit to SF last week. Besides wearing the blanket scarf over the blazer, you girls can wear all three different styles over jackets and coats. I've definitely been living in my blanket scarf these days :)

其实这是最帅的也是我最爱的方式。对折两次然后用腰带固定。今年巴黎时装周街拍看到的。超爱的。我这套是在三番市穿的。除了和西装，这三种方法和夹克，外套都可以。我现在是天天戴这条围巾。

AUTUMN LEAVES

Good evening from San Francisco, loves! The weather is gorgeous here and while San Francisco doesn’t have a traditional New England autumn, its Indian summer will do just fine. The classic autumn leaf is the key motif of the season. I always love something real special like these shimmering necklaces, elegant earrings, statement rings and bracelets from Pandora’s autumn collection. They are bright and feminine. They symbolize the beauty of autumn. I love wearing them with my baroque lace dress underneath the sweater with double layers. Lace indeed has the ability to add a more romantic feeling and enhance the beauty of these leaves. People say good shoes take you to good places. I feel that good jewelry creates good memories since you’ll have a reminder every time you wear the jewelry :)

FALL LAYERS

The temperature in New York has indeed dropped a lot lately, so layering is a great idea for this kind of weather. You look more stylish and it's actually very practical when you transition from indoors to outdoors. I'm definitely not over the checker print and monochromatic look just yet. I layered the blazer with this cardigan coat. I also found a few other cardigan coats that are really cute and you girls can check them out below. When it gets really cold, the cardigan coat can be worn underneath a wool coat or any oversized coat. What do you girls think? Have you gals started to layer this Fall‎?

Mr. SF and I are heading to the Bay Area tomorrow for a few days to celebrate his mom's  birthday. FALL ESSENTIAL SERIES: OVERSIZED TURTLENECK SWEATER

Sweater weather, if there is one kind of sweater I can't live without it’d be the oversized turtleneck sweater. It’s a must have this fall.

-It's super stylish and chic and I'm so so passionate about it, haha. I prefer it in white or grey, but other colors pink, mustard and Burgundy are great too.

-It brings out that boyish casual vibe and cozy feeling that make me feel as if I can live in it everyday.

-I can think of numerous ways to style it, from day to night like these three different looks with track pants, a skirt and these thigh high boots. My favorite is the pencil skirt with slit look. I’m obsessed with this oversized turtleneck sweater with pencil skirt combo.

-It can still be layered with a shirt and coat when it gets colder in the winter. I'm sure you will see me wearing this later on as I use it to layer with other pieces :)

-It covers up your neck and keeps you warm in the fall.

-Anything oversized makes you appear skinnier, haha

-I love love love it.

-领子遮住了，就很保暖。秋冬很重要

POP OF PINK: BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Some of you may have noticed on my Instagram that a few pink items have been added to my wardrobe. Yes, it’s because Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time. Most people are aware of breast cancer, but many forget to take action to detect the disease in its early stages. The best way to fight breast cancer is to perform breast self-exams and schedule annual clinical breast exams. We all need to do our part to help raise awareness. I wore my new pretty pink mini bag and pink bracelet to help raise awareness via today’s post.
