ALEXANDER THE GREAT

Yes, you probably already figured out that I'm actually referring to Mr. Wang here. I’ve loved Alexander Wang for such a long long time and this is my first official Wang bag. So you can imagine how excited I am about getting this bag. I've been “monitoring” this bag for a few months now. I had to get it because I just love the structure, quality and size. Hopefully, you guys found something you love too while shopping for the holidays :) There’s really nothing better than finding something you love at an incredible price. It’s a great way to reward yourself after a whole year of hard work.

Alexander Wang is definitely one of my favorites because of his super simple and chic design. I remember he once said, “anyone can get dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing”. I can see how this quote connects with his style, which is fairly easy for me to spot since the Wang design is so distinctively Wang. His career also motivates me because he built his empire at such a young age.

I love long vests/sleeveless coats. It’s a key item in my wardrobe that is totally me. Do you remember that I wore something similar this past summer with a skirt like [here]. In today's post I wore track pants with this long vest. I love how they look together, definitely intriguing for an off-duty look. Thank you so much for reading and for your support as always. XOXO

ROMAN HOLIDAY

Happy Tuesday, loves! Hope you are having a great week. Have you finished purchasing all your Xmas gifts yet? I'm pretty much done with holiday gift shopping for family and friends and cannot wait for Xmas.

Today's outfit is the last outfit from my trip to Europe. Yes, my last stop was in Rome, Italy. When I was little, I watched the film starring Audrey Hepburn, Roman Holiday. Ever since then, Rome has always been on my list of places to visit. In Rome, I saw so many sites: the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the mouth of truth etc. I was so excited each time I visited a site from the movie and the scenes just replayed again in my mind. I’m a sap for the love story in Roman Holiday. And of course the cute little Vespa just added to my affection for the movie. Because of the film, I imagined Rome as an incredibly romantic city and it lived up to my expectations. I was able to go to some restaurants and meet a number of locals who were sweet and always helpful. The spaghetti alla carbonara, gelato and tiramisu were my favorites and I could eat them on repeat every day. The highlights of the trip for me, though, were seeing the San Gennaro collection of gems and jewelry from Naples and my visit to the Vatican where I finally saw the Creation of Adam inside the Sistine Chapel. Getting the chance to see all these sites meant so much to me. Rome is just an amazing city full of history, culture and legacy. Words cannot describe everything that I saw. Hopefully, you guys saw some pictures on my Instagram, but really the pictures cannot do it justice.

As for shopping, I really don’t think the prices are cheaper over there, but I was able to purchase some Italian brands at pretty reasonable prices. I can’t wait to show you guys these goodies over my next few blog posts :)

The cashmere sweater I wore is from QUINN NYC. I really love this sweater because it’s so soft, warm and comfy. The shape is also nice as well. It's a cute sweater with cable details. I love sweaters that are good quality and keep you warm the entire winter. I paired it with a 7 For All Mankind pair of skinny shimmer jeans. The boots are also chic and comfortable to walk around the city in especially when you’re traveling. Have a great Tuesday and enjoying the snow here in New York city:) XOXO

LONDON SKETCH

Hi loves! Happy Thursday! Hope you guys are having a great week. Today, I’m posting about my second and final day in London.I went to the London Eye and snagged a reservation at a restaurant I’ve wanted to try and see called Sketch.I discovered this restaurant a long time ago and I said “see” earlier because one of the main reasons I wanted to come was to take in the interior design and layout of the restaurant. The food was delicious but the decor and ambiance were the real highlights. The pictures don’t do it justice but you can get a feel for it. The lighting is so futuristic and I love the cute eggs, hehe. It isn’t Buckingham Palace but it’s worth a visit the next time you are in London. Before Shall We Sasa launched, I made a list of to-do’s for 2013 and I’m happy to say that I crossed visiting London off that list. I also crossed off the list shopping at the flagship stores for Ted Baker, Topshop and River Island (surprise, surprise shopping was on my list…hehe). It was indeed an awesome trip for me.

Today's outfit is from DivaNY. The jeans are a tight fit. As many of you probably already know when the pants are tight, it normally makes you look skinner. In addition, I had on a cute sweater which was great for the weather in London. The prices for these items are also quite affordable, which is always a bonus. I paired this look with my long leather gloves, boots and my Sophie love, hehe. Have a great weekend! XOXO

LONDON DIARY

Happy Tuesday, loves! I'm back from an unforgettable trip to Europe. How was your Thanksgiving? Did you pick up any great deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Hopefully, in addition to the gifts you purchased for family and friends, you also got something nice for yourself. I totally spoiled myself and cannot wait to share with you guys what I bought in Europe.

My first stop on my Europe trip was London. I really enjoyed everything there such as English high tea, shopping at Ted Baker, Topshop and Harrods, and of course sightseeing under a light drizzling rain. London is such a cute city with their signature red phone booths, Big Ben and their native English accent. All of them brought a smile to my face.

Wearing white is always a good idea in London even come winter time. In my opinion it matches well with the backdrop of the city. I really love this white quilted skirt from Persun Mall. It's cute, affordable and versatile which makes it great to have during the holiday season. I completed this look with my new favorite structured tote bag by Sophie Hulme. I've been looking at this bag for some time now and I’ve debated with myself which color was worth the investment. I ended up deciding that black was the right color for me because I love wearing prints. If your closet is full of solids and darker colors then it might make sense to consider one of the brighter colors. Over the years, I’ve realized how much I love structured bags. Structured bags make your outfit instantly more stylish. This Sophie Hulme bag has already become an essential, go-to bag in my wardrobe.

The snake necklace and matching bracelets are from Capwell+Co. There is a sale going on for you guys right now. 20% off site wide. Code:SASA20. I hope you can find something you like too:)

I’m so glad to be back home in New York and posting regularly again. If there’s anything on your mind that you’d like to see and read about during the holidays you know how to reach me. XOXO

RED FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Happy Thursday, loves! It's our posting day, yay :) What are your plans for the weekend? Are you going to do some shopping with Thanksgiving coming up right around the corner? Hopefully, yesterday's post gave you some more ideas on what to buy. I’ll put up some more gift idea posts real soon. Thanksgiving is such a big family holiday where everyone gathers around to give thanks and appreciate what we have in our lives. Turkey has never been a favorite of mine, though, is that weird? haha Anyways, I really have a lot of things to be thankful for, especially this year. It's been such an amazing and special year for me because of you guys. Thank you so much for making all of this happen and for being so supportive with your comments and e-mails. I'm heading to Europe this Saturday for the next week, but I promise I will try my best to write to you guys :) I'm super excited.

You guys know how much I love prints. Do you guys remember this print top I wore in October? Here. The dress today is from the same brand, Clover Canyon. I really love it. I have to admit that red is my color as I’m sure it is for many of you. The dress is a royal horse print and I matched it with a red coat. You can pick almost any color coat to match any of the colors on the dress. Feel free to wear leggings if you feel a bit chilly. I bought this dress a while ago and Clover Canyon’s new collection has some great pieces, which I adore. The dresses are feminine and will definitely make a statement for you. This outfit is great for a date or a party during the holidays. If you like prints like me, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to find something you like in their collection. Enjoy your Thursday, loves :) XOXO

AFTERNOON TEA WITH SASA

Hello, loves! How's your week going so far? Did you wait in line last Thursday to purchase the Isabel Marant for H&M collection? Or you were able to snatch your favorite piece online? Everything sold out online incredibly fast but you never know there might be a piece still available in-store right now.

I wore the Isabel Marant for H&M skirt to afternoon tea with a good friend this past weekend. I love this jacquard-weave skirt. The silk and wool blend with metallic threads has incredible details and the wrap design is really cute. It's perfect for the holidays. Oh my, did I just say, “holidays?” New York is already decorated with beautiful lights and I’ve even spotted a few wreaths. Have you started looking for holiday gifts for friends and family? I’ve done a little bit of shopping, but still have a ton to get done. Some websites are starting to advertise some pretty good sales or holiday gift items like Shopbop, Sephora, NordstromAlice&Olivia and Bloomingdales. Hope you can find something for your friends and family. Remember, it’s the thought that counts but if you find them something stylish that they love, you’ll even bring a smile to your face :)

I paired this look with my statement necklace and bangles from Sequin NY. They are a NY based jewelry design company. The statement necklace is definitely an essential for the holidays because it makes your whole outfit stand out. It takes a simple look and brings a lot of life to it. I don't wear it all the time, but it's something you definitely need to have in your wardrobe. What’s your favorite statement necklace in your jewelry box? :) Enjoy your Tuesday and thank you so much for reading. XOXO
