I wore this outfit to our weekly dance lesson last night. You girls know how much I love velvet this season. It feels so luxe and nice. Besides the blue velvet booties, I also got this blue sweater dress. It's actually Chenille. Chenille is very similar to velvet and they both are super soft. The only difference is one is yarn and one is type of construction. Sweater dress with OTK boots is the formula you can't go wrong with for Fall.
Jan has so many great sales, so I recently picked up this reversible vest on sale. Shaggy faux fur on one side and embroidered velvet on the other side, stylish, warm and a great deal because it's currently 50% off!

Do you girls notice anything different today? Haha it's the lips. I'm using the new Velvet Matte lip pencil in color Cruella - scarlet red from Nars for the very first time. Normally, I wear a lot of red and orange colors. This deep red definitely makes me feel wicked and like a bad ass babe. It's magical and I love the experience of trying new lip colors. I think from now on I will even try some bolder colors, which I've never tried before. I wore these leather pants beneath the dress the other day to a dinner with Mr. SF and some of his friends because it's still kinda chilly and more importantly it's a great layering style. The Harlie statement necklace in white iridescent opaque glass is a very long necklace, but since it's such a versatile and beautiful piece I decided to flip the necklace and wore it shorter. You actually can adjust the hook and wear it any length you want. Even the back of the necklace is incredibly pretty! I will show you girls how the front looks in the future. Irresistible Spring! I can't wait for you already :)

I wore this outfit to a holiday party last week. This velvet pencil skirt with the floral print and lace hem is just so feminine and pretty. I wanted to wear it with a crop top to make the look more fun for the holidays. It'll work too if you want to wear it with a sweater. The skirt is stylish yet very affordable (it's only $56). Grab it before Xmas and you will find it handy when you need to go to a last minute holiday party. Accessories like this ring, earrings and my new gold rush babe just add more sparkle to the outfit making it perfect for the holidays. I carry this bag almost everyday now because I'm just that in love with it :P
I was so glad that I was able to catch up with some good friends that I haven't seen for a while at the holiday party. We started reminiscing about our old silly days and the fun times we’ve had together. Even, though, we haven't seen each other for such a long time and our lives have changed a lot, it still feels as if we are still the same toward each other. You girls know that I have two jobs that keep me super busy. There’s only 24 hours in each day and there’s only one me. The holiday party made me realize that I need to squeeze out more time to spend with friends and family no matter how busy I am. Happy holidays to my loves! One of the most memorable things I saw during this past Spring Summer 2015 NYFW was the slit. If you girls still remember the runway photos I posted on my Facebook page and Instagram, designers came up with different maxi and dresses with the slit that were super sleek and sexy. I'm so in love with this long sweater with the side slit. It was love at first sight indeed. How do you make a long sweater with a side slit look more stylish? Two key points: (1) wear the sweater with a shirt underneath to make the whole look more sophisticated (small style detail: try taking the sleeve of your shirt and make a cuff over the sleeve of the sweater), (2) wear it with flare jeans or pants. This is also one of my favorite silhouettes. It creates a smaller waist and elongates your legs. Couldn't be happier with this outfit. You girls should give it a try to see if you like it while looking taller at the same time, haha! Happy Wednesday, my loves! XO
