When I picked up this puffer vest in red I considered how I could wear it with my sweater and layer it with my coat or jacket. Also, red is a great color for the upcoming holiday season (can’t believe how time flies, but I am super excited that the holidays are right around the corner). 

I wore this vest to the airport on Saturday with a double denim look and my OTK boots. It was super comfy and perfect for the flight. Today, I’m wearing it with a black look and ankle booties for a cool look. It’s such a versatile piece.

In my opinion, there is a formula for a cool outfit that you can never go wrong with. I call it Black+Black+Red. A black outfit itself is pretty awesome already, especially when the black pieces are in different textures and materials. If you can add on a pair of red shoes, red sneakers or red heels, or really any type of red shoes, it just brings out a whole new level of coolness. I adore the zipper of the sweater a lot and the sweater is currently ON SALE for $23. I’ve had these Giuseppes forever and now that I think about it, it has been one of my best shoe investments ever. You just can't go wrong with these. They were sold out before, but now have been fully re-stocked and are now available in every single size and are ON SALE as well. The blanket scarf is one of the most popular items for the fall because it's so stylish and warm. It has totally inspired me to write this three-in-one post for you girls :)

Wrap It

Wrapping it around your neck is the most common way to wear it. It covers your entire neck and keeps you super warm.

Poncho It

Just use a few safety pins and the poncho can be easily created.

Belt It

Actually this is my favorite and in my opinion the most stylish way to wear the blanket scarf. I folded the scarf over twice, put it around my neck and put a belt on my waist to secure it. It was inspired by a few street style pics I saw from Paris Fashion Week this year. I love love love it. I wore this outfit during my visit to SF last week. Besides wearing the blanket scarf over the blazer, you girls can wear all three different styles over jackets and coats. I've definitely been living in my blanket scarf these days :)

SCANDAL STYLE THE LIMITED

Happy Monday, loves! As I promised you guys today I’m sharing more info about the look I showcased on Good Morning America from the Limited. The collection is inspired by the show, Scandal, starring Kerry Washington.

Do you guys watch the TV show, Scandal? I love it and I totally want Olivia Pope's wardrobe. As a
network engineer, I work for a technology company that doesn't have a very strict dress code, but I love and enjoy dressing up for work. It definitely empowers me everyday and gives me that extra dose of confidence. This black and white outfit is so work chic. The whole collection was created by Kerry Washington, Costume designer Lyn Paolo and designer Elliot Staples. It was created to inspire even more possibilities for ladies who lead, women like us :) I styled the look a little differently from how I wore this outfit on GMA. What do you gals think?

It was such a great experience to work with so many amazing and talented people like Kerry Washington, Lyn Paolo and designer Elliot. Kerry is such a sweetheart. Seeing her out there on the set and chatting with her behind the scenes really motivated me to keep pursuing my dreams. There is no substitution for hard work and I believe hard work will always paid off. Keep on pushing, my loves! :) XO

ONE BLOUSE FROM DAY TO NIGHT

Hello everyone! I'm super excited today to show you guys how I wore this mix print blouse from day to night, for work and for play. The blouse is a very versatile piece because of the mix print. I also love the silky and comfy material.

For the day look, I wore it with the following:

-Neon pants and pumps to make the day look fun
-A structured day bag to add coolness
-Reflective sunnies

For the night look, I wore it with the following:

-A white sequin dress underneath
-A statement necklace to add some glam
-A belt to make a better shape for the night look
-Sandals for a night out

I love pieces like this blouse that I can wear at work and after work. It's also a lot of fun to create and experiment with more looks from my existing wardrobe. Do you guys wear anything from daytime to nighttime and how? :)
