Happy Monday, loves! What a busy and great weekend in the Windy city with Mr. SF. We went to a friend's wedding and also made a stop at Mr. SF's alma mater – my first time on campus. Hope you guys had an awesome weekend too.

I was looking for a romantic dress that I would be able to wear to both the wedding and a date night later this month. Chi Chi London has really pretty and feminine dresses, so I picked this one. The lace detail, sweetheart neckline and the open back with the self tie detail totally caught my eye. They also have a few other dresses that are really adorable as well. Thanks to the newly wed couple for the beautiful flowers from their wedding. I made full use of them the day after:)

大家星期一快乐！周末和Mr. SF.去了趟芝加哥参加朋友的婚礼顺便去他以前的大学参观一下。第一次去他的大学感觉很有意义。希望你们也度过了一个愉快的周末。

去芝加哥前我就在找小礼服既可以参加婚礼穿约会的时候又可以穿。Chi Chi London有好多件漂亮的又很女生的小礼服。我选了这件。蕾丝，心形的领口还有背后的小蝴蝶结让我很动心。其他的几件也很漂亮让我很难抉择。谢谢新婚夫妇的花，还真的派上了用场。

DISTRESSED BOYFRIEND

I guess the distressed part of a regular pair of distressed jeans just isn't distressed enough for me. I've always wanted a pair of these reverse destroyed boyfriend jeans for a while now. The front opening definitely makes the jeans look even cooler. I love wearing the casual and cool look when I'm in the mood on the weekends. If you're not too crazy about this exaggerated front opening, there are other pairs of jeans that are great too with a similar style. It's definitely an awesome look to rock on the weekends:)

I realized that I barely own any green items in my closet, but this little green dress totally caught my eye because of the cutout on the side and the knitting material. I have always enjoyed experimenting with different styles and pieces I've never thought about wearing. So I bought this little green dress before my trip to the picturesque Burgundy region in France. I'm so obsessed with it's vibrant color and am incredibly happy with it. Do you like like this little green dress?

TGIF, loves! Do you guys remember the “Crazy Beautiful Lines” post I did a while ago? If you do, you’d know that I’ve always had a thing for Christopher Kane. I’m so obsessed with their designs and can never resist them.

I got this Christopher Kane tee on sale before my Paris trip. It’s from last season but I knew that it had to be mine because I was still in love with it after eyeing it for so many months. Without any hesitation, I bought this tee the minute I saw it on sale. I love this super dope tee with its own eye-catching lines and design. Are you tired of a regular tee? Traveling to Paris this summer with Mr. SF was one of the happiest times in my life. I wish time could have paused to allow me to appreciate the beauty of Paris a little bit longer. I remember that day we walked around the city all day long, Avenue Montaigne, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, Avenue des Champs-Elysees and then we decided to make a stop to see the sunset before dinner. This is where Mr. SF snapped these photos for me. Je t'aime Paris. You are so fine!

LITTLE WHITE DRESS

 

I'm back home, loves! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already saw this LWD outfit I wore in the country side of France, our first stop during the trip. The Burgundy region has blue skies, great food, great wine and green trees everywhere. Escaping from the big city and experiencing life in small towns was such a pleasant experience. It was so peaceful and fun. I watched a soccer match with Mr. SF in Burgundy on one of the nights during our stay. France won the game and everyone in the town was singing, drinking, waving their national flags and honking their car horns for hours after the match ended. It honestly was a pretty cool experience. 

I found this LWD at a French Connection's Sale before my trip. I love this white dress because it has a drop waist design with cute ruffles. The textured material makes it look even prettier. I love wearing the dress with a body chain. It's currently still on sale and is perfect for the summer.

 Happy Monday, loves! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very productive. I finished reading GirlBoss. Totally love how Sophia kept it real throughout the book. Here are some snippets from the book that I really love. 

-Life is about creating myself and dreaming big.

-One can be an expert at something after putting in ten thousand hours of Practice.

-Think big.

-The only way out is in.

-Trying different things, doesn't mean giving up. Sometimes just let the universe have its own way. 

-Take care of the little things.

-Bet on yourself.

Today's outfit is one of the outfits I wore during my LA trip. It's a matching palm tree print set. The midi skirt is very flattering and creates a beautiful and feminine silhouette. The color is also a little bit of neon which is perfect for summer. With a light coat/jacket, this would be a day outfit. It's also great for a night out.
