Dressing down this pretty eternal love dress today with my denim jacket. I'm obsessed with the beaded details of the dress. Such a pretty dress for going out and for a date night :P
The denim jacket is indeed the essential piece every wardrobe needs to transition from Summer to Fall.
I always love a great day look with a denim jacket. If you girls are looking for one this Fall, I definitely recommend this one. If you want a statement jacket, this patched denim jacket and this distressed one are perfect for you. I'm so in love with them and they are all less than $90.
Happy Monday, babes! Have a great beginning of another week :) XO
New stripe top and I'm so obsessed with it. I can't get enough of stripes. Wearing it with a denim jacket and ripped jeans are my go to look this spring. Some of you commented on my Instagram and Facebook page that this pair of sandals looks really high and that you may not have the confidence to walk in them. This made me want to share some tips on how to wear high heels.
-Heel type.
The heels that have more cover, an ankle strap or thicker heels are easier than stilettos and thin heels.Wedges and platform heels are also easier. Plus platform heels are back this season, which are indeed a great option. With this pair I'm wearing, the heel is 5.75 inches in total height and the platform is 1.5 inches. So the absolute height is about 4.25 inches. It's much easier to walk in compared to a lot of high heels. I love how they look and how they elongate my legs :P
-Find the right size.
When I'm shopping online, I always look at the description of the shoes before I order. Lots of online retailers have information like true to size or fit smaller in the product detail. You need to find the right size for you.
-Use anti-blister products.
I'm currently using this Julep Doublesteps foot treatment and friction stick. I put it on my feet on the areas where I easily get blisters before I put on my heels. This shea butter treatment is infused with vitamin E and chili pepper oil to stimulate circulation. It also creates a barrier between your feet and shoes to reduce friction and stomp out blisters.
These gels and silicon are really soft for your feet. They help shift the weight and alleviate heel pain.
-Walk in them correctly.
Walk in them from heel to toe. Having good posture helps too. Take small steps. Be confident :)
-Take Breaks.
Try to sit if you need to get off your feet for a little bit. Practice does make perfect, but don't wear heels everyday. Your feet need a break. After wearing heels for a few days, you can switch to other awesome flat shoe options out there like Birkenstocks :P
-Bring foldable flats.
Some heels are really high and tough to walk too long in, but they are so pretty. If you know you will be in these types of heels for long hours, you can always bring foldable flats with you. I have a few pairs of Yosi Smara ones, they are tiny after folding and fit in small bags.
-Be good to our feet.
At the end of the day, after showering, I always put on lotions and creams and that includes putting them on my feet. Massage them for a while as it's good for your feet. This shea butter foot cream is really good. Or get a foot massage and a bubble bath, which are great for our feet.
I hope these tips are really informative and helpful for you to rock your heels. Happy Thursday, loves! Have a great day :) XO
A new layering combination for this spring is to wear your trench coat underneath your denim jacket. From inside out, I wore a slim fit sweater, a shirt, a draped trench and a denim jacket. With the outfit, I slipped on my pink Yosi Samra flats for a casual chic look. This has been my go to off duty look lately and it's so comfy. So obsessed with all of it.
WearingKhaki utility pants with a simple white tee is the easiest way to create an effortless casual chic look. You girls saw how I paired the peek toe bootie with moto pants in my previous look, so you know how this pair is truly versatile. The waterfall navy trench coat is another new addition to my closet. I'm so obsessed with this tres chic trench :P

I bought the harvest Karen Walker a while back. Its polished metal in the middle and on the side of the sunglasses is the coolest part of these sunnies. I recently made another Karen Walker purchase. Now I know why they call this pair of Super Duper Karen Walker a "magic device", which makes your face appear smaller. Because of the oversized frame it's just as flattering for many different kinds of face shapes. I was in desperate need of this pair to cover my dark circles and eye bags from averaging 4 hours of sleep a night during the past two weeks. I'm living in them and I'm so happy with them. If you girls are looking for a pair of Karen Walker, I strongly recommend you check out the sale here. You can use code SPRING20 to get 20% off. Sale ends on Friday. Double pink is the look for today's outfit. The pink coat is so soft and pretty for this weather. I'm just ready to shake off all my heavy clothes and embrace spring. Happy Wednesday loves! Wishing you an amazing Wednesday :) XO
Do you girls notice anything different today? Haha it's the lips. I'm using the new Velvet Matte lip pencil in color Cruella - scarlet red from Nars for the very first time. Normally, I wear a lot of red and orange colors. This deep red definitely makes me feel wicked and like a bad ass babe. It's magical and I love the experience of trying new lip colors. I think from now on I will even try some bolder colors, which I've never tried before. I wore these leather pants beneath the dress the other day to a dinner with Mr. SF and some of his friends because it's still kinda chilly and more importantly it's a great layering style. The Harlie statement necklace in white iridescent opaque glass is a very long necklace, but since it's such a versatile and beautiful piece I decided to flip the necklace and wore it shorter. You actually can adjust the hook and wear it any length you want. Even the back of the necklace is incredibly pretty! I will show you girls how the front looks in the future. Irresistible Spring! I can't wait for you already :)

On my trip to Shanghai, this khaki parka was the only heavy outerwear item that I brought. I figured that by pairing it with different things, I would be able to pack fewer items for my trip. Do you girls remember when I mentioned in a previous post that the biggest challenge during a New York winter is to keep warm and still look stylish? This parka definitely keeps me warm and has been a great addition to my winter wardrobe. Today, I want to share with you girls the three ways I wore it in Shanghai.
Wear the parka with a dress and over the knee boots. It's more girly compared to the other two looks. BTW, girls, these boots are awesome, incredibly stylish and ON SALE. They are identical to the 5050 boots, but the price is way more affordable.
Do you girls wear a parka during the winter? How do you like to wear it? Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to bundle up in this cold weather. Stay warm, my loves :) XO
