Today, I'm wearing a super cute and comfy tassel top and zipper shorts from Joe Fresh. Both of them are less than $30! Besides my wedges, they also look great with my slipper sandals (see my look here).
Every morning and evening seeing so many people going to and from work on Park Avenue motivates me every day. The hustle and bustle are so New York, so inspiring.
I wore this lovely LWD with my belt to give it a more flattering shape. It’s such a cute dress and is currently on sale for less than $60.
As for these platform espadrille sandals, they are MUST HAVE sandals this spring. They look like flat sandals visually, but because of the platform, they make you look taller. Mine is from Sole Society and is less than $75, but not all the sizes are available. A lot of other brands have a similar style like this, this and this one. I highly recommend you girls get a pair. It goes with a lot of outfits and you girls will see me wear this pair very often :)

Looking at these photos brought back to me some pretty cool memories of Chueca in Madrid. The whole month of July people are celebrating love there and it was so exciting and cheerful. A lot of the outfits I showed you girls during the past two weeks from my trip were actually very wearable and practical, because they are cute and super comfy, exactly what you need while you are traveling. I brought this versatile sequin top with me because it's good with shorts for a cool look and a skirt for a romantic look. It's currently on sale for $42 and stock is running low.
The best sale for the weekend of course is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it just opened up to everyone. Even if you don't have a Nordstrom card or haven't gotten a chance to apply for one, today is the time for you to shop for new arrivals for fall on sale before their prices go up on Aug 2nd. The peacock embroidered tulle dress, the suede gladiator wedges and the drew bag from Chloe are the most romantic and amazing summer uniform. Because of the price, I have been looking for alternatives and more affordable looks that have that carefree and romantic feeling. The crocheted lace trim reminds me a lot of the Chloe girls. Summer has come to New York City a bit earlier than I expected. I wore this outfit and did some shopping in the daytime and went to a rooftop happy hour over the weekend. The open back and the movement of the skirt made me enjoy these weekend events even more. I was feeling very Chloe.
A tip to wear this kind of airy and open back dress is not to wear a bra. I only wore self adhesive pasties underneath. I know some of you might not feel too secure. Another thing I use, though, is Topstick. It's basically a double sided tape for clothes. I put it in between my skin and the dress in my chest area, so that the dress is secure and the front won't fall off or open up even when you are dancing. It actually feels really good to not wear a bra once in a while, definitely feels very free :) What do you girls think? :) XO
There are days I just want to live in a Sweatshirt. With a pair of ripped jeans and sneakers, it's the perfect travel and casual weekend look. Red and blue is a great color combination and this Rodarte sweatshirt is indeed one of my favorites. I wore it when I visited Hong Kong during the Thanksgiving weekend.
My loves, 2014 is coming to an end. It's been a great 2014 and so many incredible things have happened. I started a new job. Mr. SF and I started a new chapter in our life by moving into our new apartment. We traveled to the Burgundy region of France and Paris together. Paris always has had such a special place in my heart, so it was ultra-special to explore it with Mr. SF for the first time. We also went to Shanghai, Hong Kong, DC, Chicago, LA and of course SF. It really is awesome to have someone that you love and can share your life with. As for Shall We Sasa, I'm so honored to have worked together with so many amazing people this year, highlighted by the segment with Kerry Washington on Good Morning America. Shall We Sasa got featured on a number of popular websites. And of course, I got to get to know more of you through SWS and I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. TGIF, loves! Here’s my third outfit from Hong Kong. The cutout detail of the hoodie totally caught my eye when I first spotted it. It was love at first sight. If you are looking for something casual and cool that stands out and isn’t just an ordinary hoodie, this is definitely the design for you. I love mixing a sporty looking top with dressy heels, but it totally works if you wear sneakers too.
