I couldn't have been happier when I first spotted this glitter-encrusted mini v clutch. These crystals on top of the clutch are just insanely beautiful. Clutch or cross body, either way I had to have it, haha. Something about shiny and bling bags, like a good statement necklace always catch my eye. It definitely adds some glam to your outfit especially for a night out. This clutch comes in 4 different colors. I picked purple because I don't have many purple bags and like I always mention to you girls how it’s good idea to have a pop of color bag this summer. The baby blue high low dressis on sale for only $22! It's available in all sizes. Wearing it with a belt gives the dress a better shape. And these tassel lace up sandals I got for $81 and they are available in this color. The statement necklace is currently on sale for only $20. I can't wait for the weekend already. Happy hump day, babes!

Do you girls remember when I first introduced this straw hat to my blog? I paired it with a floral jumpsuit for a romantic look. I promised then that I would do a cool look for you since the straw hat is just so versatile and is a must-have for summer. Here you go, there is nothing else better that emphasizes the coolness of a straw hat like a vest. Wearing it with white jeans, a tote and a slip on feel chic and very wearable.
Today, I'm so excited to share with you girls that my favorite online retailer Shopbop is having an up to 70% off sale and there are so many new items that have just been added to the sale. How cute are these clutch and sandals! You girls have to check out my picks.

New stripe top and I'm so obsessed with it. I can't get enough of stripes. Wearing it with a denim jacket and ripped jeans are my go to look this spring. Some of you commented on my Instagram and Facebook page that this pair of sandals looks really high and that you may not have the confidence to walk in them. This made me want to share some tips on how to wear high heels.
-Heel type.
The heels that have more cover, an ankle strap or thicker heels are easier than stilettos and thin heels.Wedges and platform heels are also easier. Plus platform heels are back this season, which are indeed a great option. With this pair I'm wearing, the heel is 5.75 inches in total height and the platform is 1.5 inches. So the absolute height is about 4.25 inches. It's much easier to walk in compared to a lot of high heels. I love how they look and how they elongate my legs :P
-Find the right size.
When I'm shopping online, I always look at the description of the shoes before I order. Lots of online retailers have information like true to size or fit smaller in the product detail. You need to find the right size for you.
-Use anti-blister products.
I'm currently using this Julep Doublesteps foot treatment and friction stick. I put it on my feet on the areas where I easily get blisters before I put on my heels. This shea butter treatment is infused with vitamin E and chili pepper oil to stimulate circulation. It also creates a barrier between your feet and shoes to reduce friction and stomp out blisters.
These gels and silicon are really soft for your feet. They help shift the weight and alleviate heel pain.
-Walk in them correctly.
Walk in them from heel to toe. Having good posture helps too. Take small steps. Be confident :)
-Take Breaks.
Try to sit if you need to get off your feet for a little bit. Practice does make perfect, but don't wear heels everyday. Your feet need a break. After wearing heels for a few days, you can switch to other awesome flat shoe options out there like Birkenstocks :P
-Bring foldable flats.
Some heels are really high and tough to walk too long in, but they are so pretty. If you know you will be in these types of heels for long hours, you can always bring foldable flats with you. I have a few pairs of Yosi Smara ones, they are tiny after folding and fit in small bags.
-Be good to our feet.
At the end of the day, after showering, I always put on lotions and creams and that includes putting them on my feet. Massage them for a while as it's good for your feet. This shea butter foot cream is really good. Or get a foot massage and a bubble bath, which are great for our feet.
I hope these tips are really informative and helpful for you to rock your heels. Happy Thursday, loves! Have a great day :) XO
A pair of Birkenstock really isn’t new and I've been asking myself the same question over and over if I should get a pair every year ever since they came back in trend. This year I finally put my hands on it. Why now?
-They are super comfy. It's really good for my feet to get some rest after walking in heels for long hours. I did some research and found out that the firm support from Birkenstock is good for our feet and really is the kind of support your feet need as opposed to shoes that provide you soft or cushiony support.
-They are casual and chic. They probably won’t win best looking shoe accolades, but they still make your outfit look chic instantly. If you are looking for something casual to wear while still looking great on the weekend or anytime off-duty, they are indeed one of the best choices.
-They are so versatile. I can think about wearing them with shorts, a mini-skirt, a flowy maxi, boyfriend jeans, wide-leg pants or cropped and ripped jeans like what I wore in today's outfit.
-They have one of the best price versus quality ratios. Last year Givenchy had this pair of floral slipper sandals and Rachel Zoe had this pair of metallic sandals. Berks retail price is way more affordable and before I made this purchase, I read lots of online reviews and it seems as if a lot of people are happy with them.
-They are not going away anytime soon. I saw quite a few pairs of new arrival sandals this season. None of them look exactly like the Berks since they are all slipper sandals in similar styles. I don't think Berks are going away anytime soon. Ok, by the time they go out of trend, you can save them to pass them on to your future generations like how they came back in trend this time, hahahaha.
-They can be worn almost all year long. Except on those really cold winter days, you can wear a pair of grey socks with Birkenstock even in the winter. That's why they are worth every penny you spend.
So this year I said to myself, why not! I got this white Birkenstock pair. There is another pair in a really similar style in white and it's about $40 cheaper. You can check the pair out, plus you can get them for $15 off using code SPRING15 when you spend $100. To make full use of the sale, my ripped jeans and the sleeveless trench are all included in this sale. You can get a max $50 off with code SPRING50 when you spend $200. This sale is just too good to pass up on, so I picked a few other things for you girls below.
Back to the topic, what do you girls think of Birkenstock? Do you already have one or even a few pairs or are you thinking about finally getting one pair this season? :P
I got this Somedays Lovin Scandal cutout sweater at 50% off. Pretty sweet, huh? To bring the ‘70s back, you can always pair it with a ‘70s inspired pair of jeans. Or with shorts and skirts, I love putting a belt on this look. I contrasted the khaki pants with my red wedges to add more color to this outfit.
ASOS is having a sale right now and you girls should definitely check it out. Use code SPRING15, SPRING30 or SPRING50 at checkout to save $15 off $100, $30 off $150 or $50 off $200. Happy Shopping and have a great Easter weekend. I will talk to you girls real soon :) XO
WearingKhaki utility pants with a simple white tee is the easiest way to create an effortless casual chic look. You girls saw how I paired the peek toe bootie with moto pants in my previous look, so you know how this pair is truly versatile. The waterfall navy trench coat is another new addition to my closet. I'm so obsessed with this tres chic trench :P
