This past weekend I went to Bloomingdale's for Coco Rocha and Botkier’s new bag collection (instagram pic here) (btw, these bags are super cute and my favorite is the Paris satchel). This is the Lola bomber jacket and floral skirt I wore that day.

Clothes are a big part of how I feel a lot of the time and this outfit makes me feel super cool and really reminds me of myself. The material of the clothes and the embellished details on the shoulder and the front of the bomber jacket and the black mesh under layer are totally awesome. Statement pieces make me feel cool, happy, like myself and so super special that I definitely can’t pass up on them. Madly in love!

POWER OF BOOTS

As a shoe lover, I have always believed that good shoes take me to good places. The weather is getting colder in New York City and the holiday season is fast approaching, so I’ve been looking for a pair of cold-weather boots for the upcoming winter. 

My feet are normally cold and get even colder on those snowy days in New York City. Boots that are waterproof, can keep my feet warm, and are stylish are the most important items on the checklist for me.

You girls don’t know how excited and happy I was when I got this pair of Sorel Joan of Arctic snow boots from DSW. These snow boots actually have been on the top of my wish list. : P The faux-fur trim feels so soft and it adds a touch of glamour to the waterproof suede boots. The textured rubber shell keeps my feet dry. After I put on these boots, they keep my feet warm and cozy and are still so stylish—exactly what I’ve been looking for. 

The Sorel Joan of Arctic snow boots go with many different types of pants, such as moto pants, leggings, and jeans. They’re casual and very easy to pair with so many different outfits. I would wear them hiking with a sweater and parka, hanging out with friends, or running errands in New York City. You can also wear thick socks with this pair of boots, which makes it even warmer. In the winter, warm feet are happy feet.

Besides this pair I’m wearing, DSW also has a variety of choices of cold-weather boots for everyone’s unique style and preference. The poncho scarf is such a convenient creation to wear both as a poncho and as a scarf. I’m wearing exactly the same look and all I did was just switch it between poncho and scarf.

This poncho scarf is really cozy and tartan is such a great color for the holidays. Plus it’s less than $80, soI couldn’t resist.

If you are looking for other ways to pair this one as a poncho, I also wore it with jeans, boots and a bucket bag the other day here.

Basically you can dress it up, dress it down or really dress it anyway you’d like:P
