It’s so good to be back in New York and the life changing magic I mentioned in the title is from the book I read yesterday on the airplane ride back. This book introduced some new tips at tidying, decluttering and organizing and how to do all these things efficiently. Haha. I strongly recommend the book to you girls. I’m so ready to throw away a host of old clothes to “detox” my closet, my apartment and start a new life :)

In my opinion, a long vest just by itself is a stylish item already. During the summer time, I love wearing a long vest with a skirt and sandals. Today, I just want to share a few tips with you girls in order to rock a long vest for the upcoming spring season. I'm so excited that spring is right around the corner.
-Pick a stylish long vest instead of a plain black one.
Don’t get me wrong, black is great since it goes with everything. However, if you are willing to try something new, a colorblocked vest is a great option with some zipper details in the middle. This one is the exact vest I was looking for. It has contrasting colors and I can also turn it into a short vest. When you wear it, unzip the middle zipper a bit to make it appear cooler.
I'm so obsessed with different hats these days, all different colors and styles. Like I always mention, accessories can change a whole look. I love the metal piece on my hat. It instantly elevates the whole look.
-Keep the look simple.
Because I picked a colorful vest, I prefer to keep other items simple and in dark colors. Even when you wear a long black vest, the all black look still looks cool.
-Wear your outfit with OTK boots.
Over the knee boots just have the magic that is missing from heels in this case and I always enjoy wearing them.
-Be confident and Rock it :)

Accessories can always change a look. One of my favorite pieces this winter has to be the oversized scarf. Do you girls remember my previous post about how to wear an oversized scarf three different ways? It was a versatile oversized plaid scarf. Today, I'm wearing this color blocked scarf another way, where I wrap it in front and pin it on the side. I wore it over my sweater and leather jacket. It indeed adds lots of warmth for a winter here in New York. Also, I adore the multiple colors so much. And just like the plaid scarf, there are so many ways to rock it :P

I know that I'll miss New York City during the holidays, so this past weekend we went to see the Xmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Even, though, I've seen it so many times, it still made me feel real lucky to live in one of the most amazing islands in the world, Manhattan. I took a pic of the Xmas tree here on my Instagram.
