AUTUMN FOLIAGE

The beautiful autumn foliage colors inspired me to create a colorful look for the season. I wanted to explore more color options and also to challenge myself. I'm wearing these suede pumps that I'm madly in love with right now. After all these years, I still have a soft spot for pointy toe stilettos. They are the symbol of ultimate class and femininity. The camel blazer gives a luxe feel to the whole outfit and it always reminds me so much of autumn. Camel, this classic color, just blends well with so many other colors. The neon pink is like the pop of orange and red that brings out the autumn foliage that just makes the scene even more beautiful. I'm really happy with this camel and neon pink look and the fun colors always are a mood booster for me. What color combination have you girls tried to make your outfit more fun for fall?

THE NEW LBD

It's not a regular LBD and it's not a Christopher Kane, but the stylish textural multi-stripe panels remind me so much of  this Christopher Kane dress. Once I saw how reasonably priced the dress was, I immediately realized that I needed it for a girls night out. I wore the dress with my new Ivy silver bracelet. The fringe and the snap closure totally caught my eye.

MAD FOR PLAID

The other day I saw this double plaid dress from Altuzarra. The top and the bottom are in different colors of plaid and they blend together so well. It inspired this plaid on plaid look. And it only shows that it never needs to be two matching color sets of plaid. Mixing them up is so much fun. This fall I'm mad for plaid. What about you? :)

VALENTINE'S DAY: QI XI

Every year the 7th day of the 7th month in the Chinese lunar calendar is Chinese Valentine's day aka Qi Xi. It was August 2nd this year and this was the outfit I wore for Qi Xi. Mr. SF and I don't really celebrate Qi Xi as much as February 14th, but we still spend time together and grab some yummy food that we both enjoy. We treat that day a little more casually than Feb14th. To find something to wear for Qi Xi, I was thinking I wanted to look for something lacey but not so formal. It should be romantic but fun. When I saw this romper from Windsor, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I really adore the back, the crochet strap and the lace overlay of the romper. I wore it during the day and at night. I'm thinking about wearing it out to a rooftop happy hour with friends this week. I can't wait:)

PINK SUMMER

Summer is pink lemonade season and I couldn't resist this hot pink dress. I can never have enough pink in my closet. For a night out or a cocktail get together pool side, this is the perfect dress to enjoy summer. It's such a fun and flirty dress and I love the criss-crossing straps in the back.  Shoes, shoes and shoes...it was love at first sight with these Fiorenza heels. I'm obsessed with lace ups and this one is definitely my favorite among all the lace up heels I've seen recently. The nude color always elongate your legs and is easy to match with everything. I love how I can adjust the lace up and tie it anywhere I want. I can tie it higher or lower or put it on the side or back. You can wear it with a skirt, shorts or cropped jeans both during the day or evening. Rally adore this cutie and can't wait to wear it again this weekend.
