 I've been living in pencil skirts lately. Why have I been so in love with them? Why not is what I think:)

-It accentuates your body's curves

The pale blue lace pencil skirt I wore in this outfit also has a high waist, which makes my body proportion look better. I wore it with a blazer to add a layer for these recent breezy mornings and nights in NYC.

COLD SHOULDER PART TWO

Do you guys buy the same item in different colors sometimes when it's too hard to choose among the colors or you just simply love them all? Isn't awesome to have the same beloved item in a rainbow of colors? Haha, this was exactly what happened when I saw this off shoulder top. Do you guys remember the same top in lime that I wore with a pair of J Brand jeans? Lime gives that pop in the summer, but white is so pretty and easy to match with almost everything. It was really tough for me to give up one of them so I bought the white one as well. In this outfit I'm wearing it with a pencil skirt. A versatile piece that can easily go with so many different items to create a different silhouette and style.

A lady like look definitely needs some feminine and trendy accessories to go with it. I love wearing rings and having a ring party on my hand. It makes the whole look more sophisticated. Sometimes I feel a bit naked when I"m not wearing any accessories. It's a very important part of my daily routine. These rings are from Anarchy Street. VALENTINE'S DAY: QI XI

Every year the 7th day of the 7th month in the Chinese lunar calendar is Chinese Valentine's day aka Qi Xi. It was August 2nd this year and this was the outfit I wore for Qi Xi. Mr. SF and I don't really celebrate Qi Xi as much as February 14th, but we still spend time together and grab some yummy food that we both enjoy. We treat that day a little more casually than Feb14th. To find something to wear for Qi Xi, I was thinking I wanted to look for something lacey but not so formal. It should be romantic but fun. When I saw this romper from Windsor, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I really adore the back, the crochet strap and the lace overlay of the romper. I wore it during the day and at night. I'm thinking about wearing it out to a rooftop happy hour with friends this week. I can't wait:)

GREY AREA

The morning and the night time here in New York City has actually gotten a little chilly recently and I'm definitely getting the feeling that fall is just around the corner. I wanted some layers and something chic that I could wear during this type of weather. Ta da then I found this blazer, haha. Everything I threw on here is old, only the grey blazer is new. I wanted to be able to mix and match it with whatever I already have in my closet. It'll look good if you try layering it with a shirt as well. A grey blazer is definitely a wardrobe essential that can help transition your outfits into the Fall:)

TRULY MADLY DEEPLY HIGH LOW

Soft texture, long back hem and casual but yet still cool are all reasons why this tunic is the newest piece in my closet. It's so versatile that I can wear it with jeans or shorts and either sneakers or causal sandals. Since we’re about to transition into a new season, this will be great for the fall. With casual sandals, I can go to a happy hour with friends or do a number of other activities. Sometimes I feel like wearing something simple and having an outfit to be able to really just get things done. If that’s my goal, I’d wear a pair of Converses to achieve this.

COLD SHOULDER

Happy Monday, loves! How was your weekend? I hope you guys had a great one. I finally finished moving this past weekend, but am still trying to finish unpacking in my new apartment. Moving is a lot of work indeed. But at least last night I finally got to enjoy my new balcony a little bit. 

I started wearing more off shoulder pieces last year. This time I added one more item to my off shoulder collection, this off shoulder top with a soft weave in a lime color. So in love with it.

WINDSOR CHECKMATE

Do you guys remember that grid on grid outfit I wore a while ago? It's not surprising that I wore these checker pants the other day and if you're looking to elevate your style instantly, they are one of the best choices and easiest way to do that. 

This total look is from Windsor Store, a womenswear company that has been around since 1973 based in California. I actually came across their site last year when friend of mine Cindy asked me to pick out a prom dress for her younger sister. I found a really cute dress at an awesome price that made her sister so happy. The brand is best known for special occasion dresses, but I also love other cute items from their site. 

As you guys can see in the photos, my hair is different, ha. A good hair day just makes everything feel 100 times better. I was feeling fantastic when I wore this outfit out with friends. I wish everyday was a good hair day. How about you? :)
