One of the best decisions I've made this holiday is to get a Christmas Tree! I've never bought any tree during my renting days and this is the first holiday we are spending in our new place in San Francisco. It finally feels like a home and it puts a smile on my face every time I see it. The magic of a Christmas Tree:P

Decoration Steps:

Christmas Tree

• This is the base of everything. If you have a good tree, it'll look so pretty by itself without any decoration. It just saves you so much time and money. 
• After researching, I prefer flocked and frosted artificial Christmas tree because it looks prettier and the snow feels real nowadays. 
• Some people prefer real tree and like the smell of the real tree, but the nice thing about these flocked tree is you can re-use them for at least a few years. They usually come with a few years warranty as well. Just think about the cost per use each year:P 
• Mine is 7.5' tall and with 700 LED light pre-lit so I don't need to install any lights. Very convenient. 
• It comes in 3 parts and super easy to install. 
• Let me show you girls how it looks when I first received it. Am I right? So pretty already!!!

• I first put on these silver ornaments all over the tree. 50 of them for only $15! Can't find better deal than this. 
• Then I added these golden ornaments around. 
• I added these golden pine picks. My goodness! These pine picks are just so beautiful and they are more beautiful than it looks on their website. 
• One order of pine picks comes in 4 of them. I ordered 8 of them in total. 
• You can add some tree snows to fill in any gap to make the tree looks better. I couldn't find any tree online. 
• The topper was basically just a ribbon that made by myself from these wired ribbons. 
• What I love about these wired ribbons are they come in 6 different types so that I can mix and match. Besides decorating the tree, make a topper, I can also use them to wrap gifts. 

• Here is how I made the ribbons on my tree. 
• So I picked one type of golden ribbon from these wired ribbons. 
• Mix it with these white satin ribbons. 
• I cut both ribbon for about 15'' each. Stack them together. Wrap both ends with the wired ribbons. Then put both ends into the tree. 
• Mixing two ribbons give the ribbon more texture and makes the ribbon looks nicer. 

• I used this, this and this wrapping paper wrapped three gifts
• These 3 gift boxes comes in different sizes are total for $10. Such a great deal. Most importantly, they look so pretty. I'd be happy to receive these gifts. 
• Then I have some LED lights to make the floor looks nicer.

You girls probably have noticed that I love the fit and flare shape because it's always flattering and balances out your proportion. This dress is also available in white. 

But today, I really want to share with you girls details about how to take advantage of the weak GBP (the British Pound). Have you girls ever purchased anything from a UK website? Right now is the best time to pull the trigger because the United States dollar has gotten so strong versus the GBP (put another way the British Pound has gotten very weak versus the United States dollar). 

Let me use the Givenchy mini Antigona as an example. If you get it here the original price is $1750. After tax it comes out to around $1905 (using a tax rate just shy of 9%). If you get it from this very popular UK retailer's website, MAKE SURE you change the currency to GBP and the shipping country to USA on the upper left corner (this will ensure that you get the lowest price). On the site the mini Antigona sells for 883 GBP, plus duty of 97 GBP, then after using USAFREE to get free shipping, your total price then comes out to 980 GBP.  Based on the current exchange rate of 1.32 (end of day June 27th), your new final price for the mini Antigona is only $1294!! You cannot get this low of a price in the U.S. That's over 30% off!!

New stripe top and I'm so obsessed with it. I can't get enough of stripes. Wearing it with a denim jacket and ripped jeans are my go to look this spring. Some of you commented on my Instagram and Facebook page that this pair of sandals looks really high and that you may not have the confidence to walk in them. This made me want to share some tips on how to wear high heels.

-Heel type.

 The heels that have more cover, an ankle strap or thicker heels are easier than stilettos and thin heels.Wedges and platform heels are also easier. Plus platform heels are back this season, which are indeed a great option. With this pair I'm wearing, the heel is 5.75 inches in total height and the platform is 1.5 inches. So the absolute height is about 4.25 inches. It's much easier to walk in compared to a lot of high heels. I love how they look and how they elongate my legs :P

-Find the right size.

When I'm shopping online, I always look at the description of the shoes before I order. Lots of online retailers have information like true to size or fit smaller in the product detail. You need to find the right size for you.

-Use anti-blister products.

I'm currently using this Julep Doublesteps foot treatment and friction stick. I put it on my feet on the areas where I easily get blisters before I put on my heels. This shea butter treatment is infused with vitamin E and chili pepper oil to stimulate circulation. It also creates a barrier between your feet and shoes to reduce friction and stomp out blisters.

-Try insoles or foot cushions.

These gels and silicon are really soft for your feet. They help shift the weight and alleviate heel pain.

-Walk in them correctly.

Walk in them from heel to toe. Having good posture helps too. Take small steps. Be confident :)

-Take Breaks.

Try to sit if you need to get off your feet for a little bit. Practice does make perfect, but don't wear heels everyday. Your feet need a break. After wearing heels for a few days, you can switch to other awesome flat shoe options out there like Birkenstocks :P

-Bring foldable flats.

Some heels are really high and tough to walk too long in, but they are so pretty. If you know you will be in these types of heels for long hours, you can always bring foldable flats with you. I have a few pairs of Yosi Smara ones, they are tiny after folding and fit in small bags.

-Be good to our feet.

 At the end of the day, after showering, I always put on lotions and creams and that includes putting them on my feet. Massage them for a while as it's good for your feet. This shea butter foot cream is really good. Or get a foot massage and a bubble bath, which are great for our feet.

新的条纹衫，好爱哦。感觉条纹衫再多也是不够。和牛仔外套和破洞牛仔裤穿就是我私底下经常的搭配。我看到你们在我的Instagram和Facebook page说这双鞋好高，都没有信心可以穿。不要啦，我今天就和你们聊聊如何穿好高跟鞋。

-高跟鞋的类型

有脚踝的带子的，或者是包着脚的，还有跟厚的都比最传统的高跟些还有细跟的好穿。像Wedges还有有platform的鞋都比较容易些。而且今年platform完全就重返流行舞台，绝对是不错的选择。我脚上的这双，总高度是5.75英寸，platform高1.5英寸，所以绝对高度是4.25英寸。和同高度的高跟鞋比好走多了。我爱死这双了，看上去腿好长：）

-选择正确的尺寸

我平常网上买鞋的时候，都会注意描述的细节。很多网站都有些鞋子尺寸正确还是偏大偏小。一定要穿合脚的鞋。

-用anti-blister的产品

我目前是用这个Julep Doublesteps foot treatment and friction stick。平常出门前会在比较容易有问题的地方涂好，然后再穿鞋。这会给你的脚一个保护，不会很容易磨到。

-可以试试insoles或foot cushions

这些都是很软的，对脚好。给你的脚一个缓冲就不会那么痛。

-走的方式正确

要从脚跟走到脚尖。站姿正确也会比较好。要挺胸抬头。步伐可以小些。有自信：）

-休息

脚累了就坐下呗。确实是走的越多就会越熟练。但也别每天都穿高跟鞋，对脚不好。其他平的也有好看的鞋，参考的我那篇Birkenstocks的博文。

-带折叠的平底鞋

有的时候知道自己很高很美的高跟鞋要穿很久，太美了一定要穿。那就带双可以折叠的平底鞋。我自己也有好几双Yosi Smara的。折叠之后很容易放在小包里。

-对脚好点

晚上回到家，洗澡之后，我都会涂些油啊，霜啊什么的，包括脚我都会涂。涂的时候就按摩下，会很好的。我推荐这个脚霜，可以试试。另外定期去脚底按摩和泡澡都对脚很好的。

In my opinion, a long vest just by itself is a stylish item already. During the summer time, I love wearing a long vest with a skirt and sandals. Today, I just want to share a few tips with you girls in order to rock a long vest for the upcoming spring season. I'm so excited that spring is right around the corner.

-Pick a stylish long vest instead of a plain black one.

Don’t get me wrong, black is great since it goes with everything. However, if you are willing to try something new, a colorblocked vest is a great option with some zipper details in the middle. This one is the exact vest I was looking for. It has contrasting colors and I can also turn it into a short vest. When you wear it, unzip the middle zipper a bit to make it appear cooler.

-Add a cool hat.

I'm so obsessed with different hats these days, all different colors and styles. Like I always mention, accessories can change a whole look. I love the metal piece on my hat. It instantly elevates the whole look.

 

-Keep the look simple.

Because I picked a colorful vest, I prefer to keep other items simple and in dark colors. Even when you wear a long black vest, the all black look still looks cool.

-Wear your outfit with OTK boots.

Over the knee boots just have the magic that is missing from heels in this case and I always enjoy wearing them.

-Be confident and Rock it :)

This look is very wearable. You can try to pair it with different items you love, experiment to see what looks better. Be confident and just rock it :P

长背心本身就已经很时髦了。夏天的时候我就很爱和短裙和凉鞋穿。今天和大家聊聊几点建议可以春天穿长背心的时髦的方法。我已经等不及春天的到来了。

-长背心的选择

一般大家可能都选黑色，黑色当然好啊，好搭配，什么都可以穿。但你如果愿意尝试，多种颜色色块的是不错的选择。这件完全就是我想要的。对比色，而且可以拆开只穿上面一半。当你穿的时候，拉链开开看上去更有型。

-加一顶帽子

我最近好爱不同型和颜色的帽子，象我经常说的饰品可以改变整体的造型。这顶帽子帽沿的金属部分是我最爱的地方。戴上后完全就是画龙点睛。

-其他部分尽量简单

因为背心有很亮眼的颜色了，所以其他部分我想简单，就穿黑色。就算你选黑色的背心，黑色的搭配也不错。

-穿过膝长靴.

过膝长靴就是有高根鞋子无法比拟的魔法。这里靴子绝对更搭。 而且我一直都很爱穿她。

-自信的穿起来

这个搭配其实很好穿也很实际。你可以试试其他不同的搭配看什么好看。你觉得好看的才可以自信的穿起来。

On my trip to Shanghai, this khaki parka was the only heavy outerwear item that I brought. I figured that by pairing it with different things, I would be able to pack fewer items for my trip. Do you girls remember when I mentioned in a previous post that the biggest challenge during a New York winter is to keep warm and still look stylish? This parka definitely keeps me warm and has been a great addition to my winter wardrobe. Today, I want to share with you girls the three ways I wore it in Shanghai.

Leather moto pants with a side zipper and leather boots create a cool look. Details like the leather gloves and the cap just make it even cooler.

Wear the parka with a dress and over the knee boots. It's more girly compared to the other two looks. BTW, girls, these boots are awesome, incredibly stylish and ON SALE. They are identical to the 5050 boots, but the price is way more affordable.

Wrap It

Wrapping it around your neck is the most common way to wear it. It covers your entire neck and keeps you super warm.

Poncho It

Just use a few safety pins and the poncho can be easily created.

Belt It

Actually this is my favorite and in my opinion the most stylish way to wear the blanket scarf. I folded the scarf over twice, put it around my neck and put a belt on my waist to secure it. It was inspired by a few street style pics I saw from Paris Fashion Week this year. I love love love it. I wore this outfit during my visit to SF last week. Besides wearing the blanket scarf over the blazer, you girls can wear all three different styles over jackets and coats. I've definitely been living in my blanket scarf these days :)

其实这是最帅的也是我最爱的方式。对折两次然后用腰带固定。今年巴黎时装周街拍看到的。超爱的。我这套是在三番市穿的。除了和西装，这三种方法和夹克，外套都可以。我现在是天天戴这条围巾。
