SPRING ESSENTIAL

Happy Thursday, my dears! Were you guys able to pick up anything from the Big Event sale? I bought something I’ve been in love with for a while and I can’t wait to get it in the mail any day now :) I don’t know about you, but I also can’t wait for spring to come and for the weather to warm up. The weather was beautiful this past weekend, which really makes me wish it was here to stay. I was able to wear my full pleated skirt out strolling around the city and was able to enjoy the sights and scenery around town. I love the texture and the pleated details, which make it a beautiful skirt. It’s quite versatile, so you can wear it for occasions during the day or at night. Thank you so much for reading. XOXO

THE BIG EVENT AT SHOPBOP

Happy Tuesday, loves! Shopbop has a big event sale from today through Thursday. If it wasn’t for the fact that Shopbop only has these major sales a small handful of times a year, I wouldn’t be mentioning it to you guys. If you have an item on your wish list you’re dying to pick up, I’d take a look today before they run out of stock. I already missed grabbing this pair of Karen Walker sunglasses this morning. Here are some of my favorite bags and shoes on sale. Good luck shopping! XOXO

CHARCOAL LOVE

I fell in love with this Charcoal jacket when I first spotted it because of the faux shearling lining, the frontal drape hem and most importantly it's a warm and stylish coat. Charcoal goes really well with a lot of other colors. I wore this piece with winter shorts and thigh high boots the other weekend. Skinny jeans or faux leather pants are also good options to wear it with.

Hope you guys all had a great weekend! Have a great Monday! Thank you so much for reading :) XOXO

PHILLIP LIM

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for 3.1 Phillip Lim. I don't own many Phillip Lim items, but I do have a classic I love Nueva York embellished tee (similar here) and a Sonomama tank both of which I’m still in love with. This chevron pattern flounce skirt is a new piece that I just added to my personal Lim collection. The material is actually thicker than it looks online, which is great for late winter and early spring. Also, the bright color keeps reminding me that spring is right around the corner. Thank you so much for reading. Have a great Thursday :) XOXO

GEORGETOWN

Cobblestone streets, cute historic townhouses and Georgetown Cupcake remind me of Georgetown in Washington D.C. I’ve spent a few afternoons admiring the area, hanging out at a cafe, popping into a home decor store to day dream about my future house, and of course shopping at the local boutiques.

Here is the outfit I wore on my last visit to our nation’s capital. I just can’t get enough of the sweatshirt craze. This Clover Canyon sweatshirt is one of my favorites in my closet. I often wear it underneath a coat, blazer or jacket. Their spring collection's prints are even more vibrant and stunning. Happy President’s Day, my loves! XOXO

FW2014 NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Loves, this is the outfit I wore last Saturday to a few NYFW events. It's another example of how a red coat really is a winter essential for your wardrobe. Red isn’t the only color that works for a winter coat because I’ve seen some amazing pastel, pink and light blue coats that are super cute and are totally in trend right now. But I just love red so much and another important consideration is that you’re unique when you wear it during the winter months as opposed to dark colors such as black and navy blue. My red coat really brightens up a gloomy day for me here in New York City.

Today I want to say Happy Valentine's to my amazing boyfriend, Mr. SF, I'm so happy to have him in my life :) Last but not least, I’m wishing all of you a Happy Valentine's Day with your significant other :) Thank you for your support as always. XOXO

MY WANG WISHLIST

Pic via Style.com

Time flies by so fast and the Fall & Winter 2014 NYFW is already coming to an end. Even, though, I didn't get a chance to go to as many shows as last fashion week because of work, I still got the opportunity to check out all the runway photos from my favorite designers. Of course, there are so many amazing looks. But even after scouring all the shows, I still have to say that Alexander Wang’s collection stands out most vividly to me. The color, structure and material were just so insane and cool at the same time. Looking at his coats and boots, I wish they were available right now because they are definitely essentials to survive here in New York City during this brutal winter. I now have this crazy urge to just own as many Wang items as possible. I already can’t wait for his designs to hit the market this coming fall. And so I’ve made myself a Wang wish list.

VALENTINE'S DAY

Happy Monday, my loves! Did you guys pick up anything from the Peter Pilotto for Target collection? :)

I'm a big fan of anything lacy when it comes to a romantic night out or a date night. Valentine's Day is right around the corner and the last couple of outfits I’ve posted like Double Take and The Color of Love could be worn later this week. Another great idea for Valentine’s Day is this corset-style V-neck and lace trim dress. In any case, I hope you find something you love to wear for Valentine's Day to celebrate with your special someone or the girls for a night out on the town:)

PETER PILOTTO FOR TARGET

Pic Via Pinterest

If you are looking for designer items at great prices and you love prints, this is the collection for you. Just a quick reminder that Peter's collection will be available tomorrow (Feb9th) on both NET-A-PORTER and Target. Target hasn't announced what time the collection will be online, but normally it's between midnight and early in the morning. Net-A-Porter has a number of key pieces from the collection as well, so I'd try your luck at both sites.

Enjoy your Sat, my loves! I hope you guys can find something incredible. Good luck and I'm off to NYFW later today. And of course more details will be coming soon on my Instagram.

DOUBLE TAKE

This isn’t the first time that I’ve worn a matchy matchy outfit. I’ve been in love with matchy matchy ever since last summer. The color and the knit material are perfect for winter nights. I wore this outfit when I went out downtown during my birthday weekend. I totally think it could be a perfect outfit for Valentine's Day whether you’re wearing this on a date or a girls night out :)

Today is the first day of New York Fashion Week. If you don’t have a chance to check out any runway shows, I’ll make sure to post about the 2014 fall trends later right here at Shall We Sasa.

Lastly, do you guys remember when I mentioned a little bit ago on my Instagram about Peter Pilotto’s Target collection. The line will be available this Sunday on NET-A-PORTER and Target. I’ll send you guys some tips soon about how to make sure you snag something nice from Peter’s collection. Have an amazing Thursday :) XOXO

NYFW ESSENTIALS

My New York Fashion Week Essentials. I started using Amore pacific CC cream after I ran out of all my bb cream. It's light but provides good coverage. The Minimergency kit is just amazing. It looks so small, but it has tape, safety pins, floss, nail polish remover, hair spray and a breath freshener etc. I always bring it with me when I'm traveling. I'm ready, New York Fashion Week:)

LUNAR NEW YEAR

How could I not wear red for Lunar New Year? Red has always been the color I’ve identified with this holiday. The holiday is a great time to celebrate with family. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to go back to Shanghai to spend Lunar New Year with my family for so many years. I truly miss the festivities, quality time with family and friends, and of course the food. This past weekend, I celebrated in Washington D.C. wearing my red coat around and eating some delicious Chinese food, which always puts a smile on my face. A red coat is a must-have for the winter if it’s for the holidays or the Lunar New Year. As for the neon pumps, it can always add some color and pop to your outfit :)

As it continues to snow here in the city, New York Fashion Week quickly approaches. Time flies since it feels as if I just went to NYFW just a little bit ago. I’m arranging my schedule right now and am trying to figure out my outfits for NYFW. Similar to what I did last year, I’ll definitely try my best to update you guys on NYFW trends and looks. Are you guys ready to follow it with me?
